I did it last week and had to go the the SC. They actually had to downgrade my software back to .38 to push it through. In the past there had been reports that they would only update for Rivian OEM wheels.

No I had to take it into service for the update. It was bricked there and took about 6 weeks to get back. Even then, there were things that they had to go back in and update (like 2nd key no longer worked). I think I saw where US ID.4s will be getting their first OTA update soon.

I had a single update on my ID4 in a 2 year period. That update bricked it for about 6 weeks.
