I’ll look into potentially shipping and let you know if there is interest to work something out. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions or want any additional photos. If shipping I would want to make sure you get whatever photos or other information you may need to make an...
I recently replaced my 22" sport bright wheels/tires with a set of 20" ATs and am looking to sell the 22s. These were taken off my R1T at 12,719 miles and have been rotated. Wheels come with Rivian OEM TMPS and center caps. No curb rash or other damage to any of the wheels. I'm located in the...
Recently switched out my 22" sport brights for 20" ATs, so I'm looking to sell my unused 22" sport bright spare with complete tire change kit. The spare and kit has never been used and comes complete with all pieces. Wheel will have Rivian TPMS installed, but no center cap included. In the...
I did it last week and had to go the the SC. They actually had to downgrade my software back to .38 to push it through. In the past there had been reports that they would only update for Rivian OEM wheels.
There have been some rumblings about SiriusXM support coming in 2024. There was an article on stories.rivian.com that had an image that had “Rivian will be adding SiriusXM in 2024”. That article went password protected and then released a week or so later without the verbiage.
I’m glad 2 million people decided to loan the richest man on earth $100 each for 4 years. Just the interest on $200,000,000 for 4 years is is pretty substantial.
A few months ago I was in a similar situation on my R1T. I was looking at putting a post pre-hike deposit on a dual motor R1T, but something told me to check the used market in my area. I was able to find a fairly low mile R1T in the color I wanted with everything I was going to order on the...
I had the .42 update (second iteration) installed on my R1T. Today I took it in to service to have a set of 20” AT wheels/tires I acquired put on and the software update to reflect the change in tire size. Interestingly they had to roll back my software to .38 to get the tire change done. In...
When I was looking for 20s I was also contacted by someone that gave an email to send a message to. I figured it was a scam, but I emailed anyway from a burner email address. They were trying to "sell" a set for like $2k shipped. Was totally a scam and I never responded. I would be very careful...
I know this is for the 22s, but I recently came across a good deal on a set of 20” AT brights. I wanted the darks, but those are hard to come by and I certainly didn’t want to pay $5300 + tax from Rivian. Twraps to the rescue with their gun metal kit. Super easy install for someone that has...
Now where is my update? It’s not fair that only 3% are getting the update. I demand compensation!
Just kidding of course, glad those that were impacted are getting an OTA fix relatively quickly.
I never said in my case with the ID.4 it was an OTA, just said it was an update. From a perspective of an update failing, it no makes difference....failed physical vs. failed OTA update sucks and there should be safeguards in place so the vehicle still remains functional. In the case of Rivian...
No I had to take it into service for the update. It was bricked there and took about 6 weeks to get back. Even then, there were things that they had to go back in and update (like 2nd key no longer worked). I think I saw where US ID.4s will be getting their first OTA update soon.
