I have a 2022 Model S Plaid and a 2023 R1S and drive (strongly prefer) the R1S virtually of the time ... only time I use the Tesla is when I want to road trip and use AutoPilot, otherwise it just sits in the driveway ... I'm thinking of selling the S Plaid as well !
I own both 2022 Tesla Model S Plaid and 2023 Rivian R1S, and I drive the Rivian over 90% of the time.
Higher driving position (ingress/egress, visibliity), lots of interior and storage space, supremely comfortable seats. Yes the S Plaid is technically faster, but not in a meaningful way as the...

That would be 10 steps backward to start propping up my phone to use Waze whenever my R1S Launch Edition finally arrives s00n next year
I just bought a Specialized Turbo S Levo eMTB last week and have a R1S on preorder with the cargo crossbars … so I was wondering the exact same thing. How to MTB regularly … and I’m considering changing my order to a R1T to get it (much) sooner.
I’m guessing lifting a 48 pound bike on top of a...
