I believe the pigtail connection prevents charging below a certain voltage. When I reanimated my truck after 12v failure I was NOT able to trickle charge via the pigtail. Had to connect direct.
To the OP. I would wait and continue to batter service to get a repair. Understand you are...
Agree. 12v battery failure for sure but just bad luck on timing and not related to horn install.
To the OP. Try to hook a charger up directly to batter(ies). Not via the rear bumper. Most new chargers will recognize the low voltage and go into a "desulfate" routine to rejuvenate the battery...
If you plan to buyout, the term doesn't really matter. Put as little down on lease as possible....it also doesn't matter much with gap insurance and fact your buying out...but preserving options is always nice. Chase is Rivian's leasing agent, you can request a buyout price at anytime, even on...
You've made the most reasonable bitch & rant post I've seen here. (which is a compliment to be clear). It varies SC by SC but it's clear at this point you aren't necessarily an outlier & they definitely need to get their shit together on the service front.
Received & installed the pull-out sled today. To be brutally honest, I was hesitant to buy anything again from EV Sportline after my experience with the running board / rock slider pre-order delay. But like the rock sliders, they delivered a very nice end product in the end. Kudos to EV...
It doesn't work like that. But rather than torture yourself with made up math just look it up. Like I said, Toyo has the best load calculations tables. You can find them here: https://www.toyotires.com/media/pxcjubjs/application_of_load_inflation_tables_20200723.pdf
Been a while since I've converted to LT E tires but did the calculation back then and it just so happens the equivalent is right around 48-49 psi for 20" stock size. Just pure happenstance on that. Toyo actually has the best printed guide for converting loads for different tire types. A lot...
It's America, we can't have nice things like hatchbacks, wagon and ADB headlights like the rest of the world. BMW comes with their ADB equivalent, Anti Dazzle, disabled in the US but it can be re-enabled pretty easily. Audi & Mercedes have it also disabled. ADB is AMAZING and some of the...
I charge at magic dock station regularly and once had someone start backing in. But they realized quickly what was going on before getting out and moved. I'll usually only charge (or wait) before starting to charge until there are a couple open spots so I don't feel I'm crowding anyone out...
Where do we park? How do we avoid blocking or taking two stalls? What's the typical layout for open SuperchargersAre the cords long enough? What other things should we do to be good charging citizens and avoid fistfights? Thought a discussion might be helpful for some. Diagrams and pictures...
Bummer! Just did some maintenance on wife cars and found this. This car was driven EVERY day this winter and they still set up shop, unbelievable. (chipmunks). Key is to set traps at the first sign of cold in the fall. That's when they move in. Forgot this year myself.
When I took delivery of my R1T June 2022, the owners manual indicated the Shop Service Manual was available from Rivian upon request. At some point late 2022 or early 2023, that language was taken out. Did anyone ever get access to it or have it?
Ok Dunning Kruger. You're an awfully little know-it-all cocksure master of the universe aren't ya? Got it all figured out. Yet here you are in an internet forum arguing with god-knows-who and spewing dogmatic nonsense....apparently taking a break from you're multi-milion $$ trading job...
