One of the issues that lead to production hell for Tesla was they thought they could make a better factory too. Instead of following convention they tried to do some complex three-dimensional chess type thing and it backfired, and they quit and went back to regular manufacturing.
If Rivian...
The Human Race as a whole is not advanced enough for this to work. There is no way I trust the scammers, and other terrible humans out there who will trash that vehicle both inside and out, take the tires, take the motors, take whatever isn't nailed down and replace it with shit.
I mean since...
I'm getting a 2022 S model while waiting for my Max Pack :)
keep in mind, Audi (and VW) do some cool things/not cool things depending on your point of view. The battery is really 95 (i think) and you get 83.5 of it, so they can charger harder/faster/longer but at the trade off of not getting...
as long as it stays low on my paydays so I can continue to scoop up as much as I can afford, not in this for the short term myself, this is all buy and hold and finally maybe come out on top
(so everyone should run, because this never happens for me)
? Last I looked it was just marginally larger than a model X (R1S) there are photos floating around here on the forum of scaled photos side by side.
I mean this is coming from someone who drove an Expedition EL, they aren't big, at least not in the USA. If we're talking Europe, then ok maybe.
The way they feather regen + braking is really elegant, and in my experience so far in our ID.4 not noticeable. Handled wonderfully with my inexperienced driver in ice/snow we had in NC which is pretty nasty for a few days.
Drums are still pretty cheap, lot less parts.
You either get a good one, and never have an issue, or you enter some dystopian hellscape where it never gets fixed.
There service interaction is all via App, you can't ever talk to people, that's probably the worst aspect of it to me.
Their mobile service I've used 2x and I've used their in...
I'm older, I'm 50, grumpy gen-x represent. I have and always will more of a lead foot. These days I try and keep it within 10% of the limit, at least in NC it keeps you from getting run off the road or passed on a double yellow. When I first got it I did some experimenting and keeping it at...
I was very annoyed by their whining when they didn't get to go to Breckenridge, but as I said before that moment I thought they'd do a great job, and they are killing it. Was nice to see this, and the charging curve one. Can't wait to see the Ike gauntlet.
a small dog would probably have a ball as long as the center thing is open, bigger dogs like that husky not so much.
I mean to me it ranks up there with putting a dog in the crate on top of a car, dark, bouncy, just doesn't seem like a great place for a family pet.
though I admit to laughing...
I was pretty annoyed when they did the super whine fest and trashed other youtube people because they didn't get the invite to the CO event a few months ago. I used to watch the there stuff a lot and really enjoyed their EV tests as they were super real world and their scoring made it real...
google 'heat pump' and 'waiting for parts for six months' and be really glad they don't have heat pumps. The Model 3s/Ys that have heat pumps have been fixed repeatedly and are now 'waiting on software update' to maybe have them work. Until then, failed cars have no heat at all in or out of...
why cancel? change the dealer. Ford will change from what I've read.
I too am not a fan of the dealer model, but when you find a good one you stick with them, but that's harder to do when they're all starving right now.
We've had an ID.4 since September, my two college students use it as their car.
We've had zero issues, and exclusively fast charge it at a nearby EA. The radio is lackluster, but CarPlay solves that, don't have to deal with the glitchy infotainment stuff.
There are plenty of LR and SR cars in the Tesla line up, the Model 3 and Y both have short range and Long range, and they have different battery packs. I do think the Y lost it's SR model recently though, but they have the problem of being unable to make enough of them.
I don't get the hate...
I view FSD as the ADM of the dealer world. I subscribed for a month for my 2200 mile road trip, the only thing it did was terrify the passengers 8-10 times an hour by trying to lane change into semi's. Never got the 'beta' this was just what the car has if you aren't timid enough to be a...
