Most of the audio is just 2.0 stereo and the way they map it to 14 speakers or whatever is completely proprietary. It depends on the frequency response and signal to noise ratio of the individual speakers.
In 2024.31 they messed something up big time. But in 2024.35 and others it seems they...
It was not better... most of the speakers were not even working. But if you want it back you can try something like the following:
63 Hz +MAX, 125 Hz +MAX, 250 Hz 0, 500 Hz 0, 1 kHz -4, 2 kHz -2, 4 kHz 0, 8 kHz -MAX, 16 kHz +0.

The issue was with 2024.31 update. 2024.35 fixed it.

I just took possession of a used 2022 R1S Launch Edition with Meridian Audio.
The bass sound is very good, powerful, deep, maybe a little too loud.
The mids and trebles are very poor, muffled, distorted, quiet.
I noticed that with 3D sound on enhanced, is barely any sound coming out of the 4...
@RivianNE did you have to pay PST when importing your Rivian?
Reading this it seems that a 6000km+ car would be exempt?
