  1. 22” Continental Terrain Contact A/T tires resulted in a negligible INCREASE in efficiency (2.07 mi/kwh) compared to OEM Pirellis (2.04 mi/kwh)

I ran into a similar issue with discount tire (they wouldn’t install due to load rating slightly lower than OEM) I ordered through simple tire and had them installed at Firestone without issue
  2. 22” Continental Terrain Contact A/T tires resulted in a negligible INCREASE in efficiency (2.07 mi/kwh) compared to OEM Pirellis (2.04 mi/kwh)

Agreed. And additionally they perform MUCH better in snow than OEM pirellis. I have 5k miles on these and I’ve been very happy
  3. 22” Continental Terrain Contact A/T tires resulted in a negligible INCREASE in efficiency (2.07 mi/kwh) compared to OEM Pirellis (2.04 mi/kwh)

Mine should have been done after 15k but I held on until 21k ? Also got sideways in the rain I almost pulled the trigger on the H/Ts so I’ll be interested to hear how those are Tirerack had some good review data that made both the H/Ts and A/Ts standout amongst their conpetitiors
  4. 22” Continental Terrain Contact A/T tires resulted in a negligible INCREASE in efficiency (2.07 mi/kwh) compared to OEM Pirellis (2.04 mi/kwh)

Exactly. I tried to order them through tirerack and install at discount tire, but apparently discount tire is very strict and won’t install a tire with weight capacity less than OEM (even though the difference is so small) I bought through simpletire and had them installed at Firestone totalled...
  5. 22” Continental Terrain Contact A/T tires resulted in a negligible INCREASE in efficiency (2.07 mi/kwh) compared to OEM Pirellis (2.04 mi/kwh)

Ride quality is slightly less harsh in my opinion. Wet traction was a big issue for me with OEM tires and much better with new Continentals
  6. 22” Continental Terrain Contact A/T tires resulted in a negligible INCREASE in efficiency (2.07 mi/kwh) compared to OEM Pirellis (2.04 mi/kwh)

Yea it’s a pretty great way to get kids out on the trail. It’s surprising how aggressively I can ride with them https://kidsrideshotgun.com/collections/products/products/shotgun-kids-mtb-seat-combo
  7. 22” Continental Terrain Contact A/T tires resulted in a negligible INCREASE in efficiency (2.07 mi/kwh) compared to OEM Pirellis (2.04 mi/kwh)

My OEM 22” pirellis were worn by 21k miles. Got Conitinental terrain contact A/T 275/50R22 through simpletire (and installed at Firestone) chose these based on nearly the same load capacity as OEM, deeper tread (12/32 vs 7/32) and 60K mileage warranty was a little worried about impact on...

Thanks for posting. I’ll be keeping my Kuat transfer hitch rack for now. But I am worried it won’t be able to flip up without hitting the tailgate.
