You've got to be in the market to have a chance at a 10% share.....this just made it harder for them to gain a solid footing which is what the R1's were supposed to do.
Going to be hard to capture 10% of the EV market share now. What was borderline niche has become full niche for a selective group of buyers. $73K was pushing it for me, but was excited for the EV opportunity. $89K is now way too steep and my configuration is basic LA silver 21" wheels, power...
Thanks! This helps. The last thing I’m looking to do is buy a truck for $75K and find out after the fact the family doesn’t fit or prefers our SUV for travel.
Love to see the vehicles getting produced.
Maybe its just me, but between the photos of Rivians getting transported and this, I'd like to see a little more attention paid to protecting vehicles before they get into owners driveways.
Once I heard the inserts could be removed, I went back and updated my build. I plan to tell my guide I don’t want to see them installed when it arrives.
Hey Rivian - if you’re listening, it would be great to add something like this to your site - allow customers to ask for videos of things they want to see and then show them. With not many test drive options, this would be a great way to answer feedback.
If you are able, I’d love to see a full side profile of an Adult in the drivers seat and another adult seated in the back directly behind - feel free to cut off the heads, I’m mostly concerned with leg room in the back. How comfortable will the family be on road trips…..
Combination of both. I’m still only considering the Lightning Pro.
My Rivian build with adventure package/tire/charger is $75K, my Lariat + build is $81K with bed liner, tonneau cover.
I think the “big deal“ is both about the actual numbers and that Ford was higher than people expected. I...
Quoting the article from jalopnik:
“The XLT is the second trim level up the range and starts at $52,974. Among other things, it adds a surround-view camera system, as well as an eight-way power-adjustable cloth seat (but only for the driver.) If you want the extended range battery — which lifts...
I get that Ford and Chevy are trying to cater to a traditional full size truck market. I consider myself in the truck market, but not necessarily the full size truck market. I knew that I wanted an EV, an upscale interior with seating for 5, and a bed for hauling bikes, boards, and home...
My build is LA Silver with Adventure Package and black interior. I’m not a fan of the default wheels so went with 22” sport bright. I’m admittedly not much of an off-roader, but plan to haul bikes, paddle boards, etc.
