I'm wondering if this change was made because of fitment issues with the older style. I actually made a thread about this tight fitment of the older style spare kit causing a clunking noise on acceleration due to the jack and other parts hitting the rim of the spare, see below...
I’ve been getting an annoying clunking on acceleration for the past month. Initially I thought it was an issue with the CV joints and made a appointment with Rivian service (still pending). Today while doing my first tire rotation I noticed that when I was getting ready to take out my spare (20”...
These wheels look so awesome, but trust me guys, these look SOOOOOO much better in person!! Pictures do not do these wheels justice. They look so much more aggressive compared to the stock 20's. Very nicely done EV Sportline.
Just got my EVSportline Sliders installed at the EVSportline/TSportline facility in Van Nuys. The staff and crew there did a great job. While I was there they had a bronze and black set of R800 wheels also!
First about the sliders. These things are BEEFY!! The finish provides ample grip and...
It seems like the team at EV Sportsline are doing the best they can to put out a quality product in a timely manner. I think a lot of us, including myself, forget that these items are not mass produced by a machine; they are hand welded by skilled craftsmen...it just takes longer. I was one of...
DAMN! Did the Power Kit sell out again?? I've been waiting for that to be available to place a order for the power kit and stealth charging pad at the same time. When will the Power Kit be available again?
It's very sad to see all these bricked trucks due to the recent updates. This is what happened to me and something you guys may want to try to see if it'll help : I've had recurrent 12V battery issues, mostly after the updates. My main symptom was "motor fault detected" warning that would...
I tend to have random faults after the updates...I suspect due to the updates causing significant drainage on the 12v during the update process. Some people it likely causes the batteries to drain much too low to the point they are bricked.
I have a done numerous ECU tunes on my ICE cars, and...
I no longer think it's related to the weather as I initially suspected. Something else is amiss...just bugging the crap out of me that I have no idea what it is.
Bump.
Just installed the the new update and I was hoping it was a software issue that would have been sorted out with the new update, but nope...till keeping coming up in the morning and gone after a sleep cycle. It'll stay gone for the rest of the day until the next morning. Hard and soft...
So this seems to be a recurring issue for me and I wanted to see if others are seeing the same issue: After a cold night (lately temps in the 30's and 40's at night), in the in the morning when I first start the R1T, I get a "motor fault detected" warning. The vehicle drives fine, and the fault...
So I'm starting to get the recurrent "motor fault detected" warning, especially starting up on cold morning. This was the initial sign that the 12V battery was going bad. So annoying...seems like I'm going to have to get my 12V battery replaced, AGAIN! This all started again after the most...
I've also been through dealing with the crappy Rivian 12V issues. They have already replaced them but I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before I need them to get replaced again. I've been experimenting with watching the voltage of the 12V system with a little plug in volt meter such...
