Is it any worse than A/C and many homes in an area when it is very hot out? That seems like a good analogy, except I do realize that A/C can cycle and charging is steady.
I would ask their help system which I've had good luck with. Especially if ABRP has access to that. Also ask them about the columns that contain no values. It would seem odd to me that they would not have dumped all that data to verify it was available. Sometimes, manufacturers do change...
Was there anything the Rivian data feed? eg. equivalent to belows post earlier in this thread

Lots of details in the TeslaFI and Tesla data feed areas assuming you have the same. You can edit the columns shown. Very handy for creating your own graphs to test something out.
Lot of graphs...
Based on previous post, it seems like you need to use ABRP with 1.2 (833) or 1.3 (769) if you are most optimistic.

Cycling example perspective as people often read those cycles as 'daily charges' vs whole 0% to 100% cycles.

From the following article on batteries "similar" to what Tesla is using.
Divide those number of cycles by 365 or 300 or whatever number of days per year you...
FYI, Tesla FSD ("Gen 4") is even bumping up against new limits ...
UPDATE: From HW3 to HW4 green said they doubled the memory and x1.5 the processing power yet ...
... they still can't do redundancy and they are bumped up against their memory limits.
That is how I interpreted the no foresight...
Tesla had to go thru MANY hardware updates and generations of their cars to get to where there AP/FSD is today. Many are left behind. I think people are foolish to think the previous Tesla hardware can be made to work on the current stuff. They pretend like you can upgrade ... but they mean you...
I had AutoPilot on my 2016 Model X using Mobileye (Call it Gen 1)
Guess what ... Tesla dumped it because they were attempting to use it beyond what Mobileye allowed.
Now my 2017 Model X is using different hardware (Call it Gen 2) and is working fairly well still.
Guess what ... now Tesla has a...
The video talked about them not having the full stack before (Gen 1) so they had limitations as the HW manufacturers gave them limited control. Rivian many not have known JUST how limiting it would be or how flexible the HW manufacturers would be in providing updates to give them more...
He talked about normal scenarios where the hitch gets a lot more than that static weight tho. Pot holes, bouncy sections of roads, steeper grades, etc, etc. I had a custom hitch on my trailer once with bikes that great for all scenarios until we hit a section of road that had undulate...
Even at 20 Mbps we are talking just a couple hours. The Rivian can sleep the rest of the time. 20 Mbps is somewhat slow these days (eg. cable)
Convert 20 GB to gigabits:
20 GB × 8 = 160 gigabits.
Divide by upload speed (20 Mbps):
160 gigabits ÷ 20 Mbps = 8,000 seconds.
Convert to hours...

Rivian R1S and R1T support coming to an openpilot release to you soon.
No flame from me at all. I completely understand. Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I've followed Tesla way too long and was suckered way too many times by promises. I had MobileEye in my first Tesla (2016 TMX) and did a lot of road tripping in that car!
I do not have close history with...
Again the world has changed in the past few years. Hardware WAY diff. Model building WAY different.
You are ignorant about this aspect that I follow very closely for several years and have experienced first hand.
