Sometimes I don't know if I have to go on a longer trip until that day. And by longer I mean 1+ hr vs. a daily typical of 20 mins or less. It's good to have buffer for some peace of mind, if nothing else.
I go to 85% on the daily. Prior to Rivian I went to 90% with my Teslas. I don't sweat it too much because I don't plan on keeping it more than seven years anyway. Battery pack or motor issues without warranty scare me, so I'd be looking to upgrade about a year before warranty expires (and value...
If it's the thumps in the video, no I've never experienced that (in my 2½ weeks of ownership). Doesn't sound normal. I'd contact service and have them check it out.. if for no other reason than a peace of mind.
You gotta feather the accelerator. As many have said, you don't just let go of it completely - that's not how OPD works.
100% ☝ After dog knows how many years of traditional driving, you just have to reprogram your brain for OPD and it'll take a little time (varies by brain). But once you get...
Yep, this. ☝ Content people don't typically go on rants in forums.
Also, my delivery experience was fantastic. One week from guide contact to delivery - in fact my guide asked me if it was ok to move up delivery day by a couple of days, which I was quite happy to agree to. The delivery...
To review in the truck later. ?
But seriously, this app is so greenfield. You gotta give it time. Tesla didn't have any of these features for years. So just wait for some awesome OTA updates. ?
Lol. But seriously, as a previous owner of Models S, 3, and Y, my R1T's build quality blows those Teslas out of the water. Panel gaps are decent, no paint issues, and nothing rattles while driving. I'd say Tesla is still by far the title holder for build quality issues.
Agreed. Content people...
Sorry for the silly question, but this is my first truck. Are the tow hooks on the R1T for pulling or getting pulled out? Or can they be used both ways?
I'm one of those people, but didn't get to pick anything - intro call with guide and a week later had my pre-ordered config delivered. I just assume I got crazy lucky. ?♂️
But I get your point, there are people who def have the right to be annoyed because they've been waiting for years.
No, because it could be any combination of these factors that ultimately decide your delivery timeframe and they're not mutually exclusive. But also, don't take "exactly" so literally - my point was that just because we simple folk are out here guessing, doesn't mean there's no method to...
Basic NEMA 14-50 outlet charged my Tesla at about 28mi/hr, and now my Rivian at 16mi/hr. I wish it was faster, but it'll be fine - plugging in for the night still gets me charged as much as I need by morning.
Is this already out? Did some folks already get that update? I haven't heard of any ETAs yet, but very interested in this feature! Love having fun in the sand around the OBX area.
Did you have gear guard enabled the whole time? That likely drains it a bit. Also, battery pack is likely (assuming it's similar to Tesla's) heated/cooled to optimal condition for its long-term health, even when parked (in a hot or cold environment). How often you try to connect and wake up the...
