Interesting and nice to see. An unrelated question: are there tax credits associated with EVs for corporations, like there are for individuals? I'm wondering if the 100,000 vans would eat into the limited number of tax credits available for Rivian car/truck buyers.

Wow, Q3 is a long way away. Hopefully Rivian continues to feed the reservation holders bits and pieces of information to keep the reservation holders engaged and excited!

so much speculation, it sure will be nice when we hear directly from Rivian about the configurator, # of pre-orders/deposits and est timing for deliveries. There is a portion of the pre-orders that are at risk (to cancel) with misinformation and speculation.

I like the ideas, especially more articulation, tires and fun (doors/top)! I am hopeful that the R1T/S will be very capable offroad and I'm looking forward to seeing them in action on/in rugged conditions :).

Yes, I would. I'm actually contemplating a new Jeep now - I need a SUV/truck that is off road capable. If they (Rivian and Jeep or Ford) could work together and get something to market quickly - I'd be a buyer. As it stands - I'll hold onto my R1T reservation, but I need to see how the end...

PoorPilot - I'd love a R1T in the same blue as your Model X! I'm luke warm/cold on the current Rivian blue. Maybe that will change before a decision needs to be made about following through with the actual configuration order.

Ah, very true. I need/want a truck that is offroad capable (not groomed dirt roads!). Ideally it will need to be on the smaller side due to the small'ish size of the trails that I will be on. But, offroad performance will be the primary criteria when selecting a BEV truck or SUV.

Same here - footage on some rugged trails with water crossings. I'm really looking for an off-road capable BEV - would like to see some footage of the CT as well as some footage of the R1S/T.

It would be great if the order configurator was available for the CES show. I would envision lots of preorders and hype from folks who already preordered. :)

Nice work. Getting closer to the color I'd like. A bit darker with some shine (some of the finishes seem a bit flat).

Oh my. I don't like it at all. I would like a much darker blue. Will be interesting to see the actual colors when they are released.

It would be nice to see some footage of where they are beating the hell out of the trucks - so far, the footage has been pretty tame in my opinion.
