I'm very interested in the windshield protection films. Any experience here?
My truck had 2 cracks in less than 2k miles. Rivian actually replaced it for free (idk why) but I always tint my windshield so I don't want to be out 250 bucks for tint every time it cracks.
I had an almost identical crack. Safelite came out and "repaired" it - it looked great. Next day I came out and it had grown to about a 12 inch crack across the bottom of the windshield. Still haven't decided what to do yet because I have the windshield tinted and ceramic coated and I don't want...
Personally i'd recommend buying a set of 20 inch wheels so you can fit A/T tires. I have the 22's and plan on getting a set of 20's with AT's so I can have both for when necessary.
They forgot the drivers side letters on mine. Didn't notice it until a few days later. They came right out and put them on for me when I put a ticket in.
They offer a 275/50/22 with very similar specs to factory. They also have a 285/45/22 with a bit higher load rating.
Curious if anyone has these or is considering, or has had them on previous vehicles?

The way that mine just totally stops at 111mph leads me to believe it is a hard software limitation and not anything mechanical like gearing. If I had to guess (total speculation) this truck should be good for at least 130mph without software limitation. They likely just don't want a 7k pound...
I do partially agree with you here Re: Traction. I have the 22's and they definitely can't handle any more power under 20mph but if Rivian was able to feed in some more power from 20-60 I think it could really make a difference. I'd also like to see this option bump up the speed limiter to 120...
Curious if anyone thinks Rivian will offer an acceleration boost software upgrade to purchase at some point? I bought the boost for my Tesla and was very happy with it - i'd happily shell out 2500 bucks to knock off another half second to 60 - and you know the trucks has it on tap.
