Also...interesting side note: My wife's Pixel 7 Pro is also on Android 13 and it works fine as PAAK. Possibly a joint issue between S23 and Android 13.
Yep...Android 13 here as well (S23 Ultra). Maybe 13 is the problem. If I restart my phone every time I get near my truck it works fine. Works fine until after some period of time (not sure how long), at which point a restart is required again.
I do not like Apple phones but am considering...
Best of luck sir! If it's drivable, I wouldn't leave it with them until all parts onsite. At least if it's in your hands, you can ensure it stays properly charged which is likely more than they will do...be a shame to add "bricked" to the list of issues...
+1 on this...I've checked it many times and it's off (also not sure how long it takes) as well as noticing the detector "boot-up" when the truck wakes up.
FWIW…I don’t know why my truck was in the Shop (customer rejection, extra inventory, rework, whatever) but who cares? It has been awesome! Minor stuff like a gap here and there but no significant issues. Power tonneau works great, have all the 12v outlets in the frunk and under the dash and...
So...quick follow-up. My last post was a bit optimistic. My S23 Ultra still does not "consistently" work with the Rivian as PAAK. I firmly believe this is a phone issue and not the truck's fault. What I've found is that upon a reboot of the phone, PAAK works for ~1-3 hours. For instance...
Colorado here and, as a 60% disabled veteran, I get one free vehicle registration...applied it to the Rivian, so $0. That's awesome but, given the choice, I'd rather not have the pains and instead, pay the fees. ?

Then order with one and get the other out of the Gear Shop...that's what I did but, I warn you, it is expensive. I did it because it came with the 22s and I HAD to have the 20s for the winter...
And you have to go to Rivian every time you want to swap so they can reprogram the truck...
I too have both the 22" Darks as well as the 20" Darks and have ~3000 miles on each. The only appreciable difference I've noticed is the 22" tires handle very badly in the snow whereas the 20" tires are pretty darn good. My intent is to switch between the two winter or summer.

Isn't this is what is indicated on the center display - i.e. the "traffic" around you (pedestrians, motorcycles, box trucks, cars, etc.)? This comment is largely intended as sarcastic because if that is what it's basing Driver+ on, then no wonder it doesn't work! :CWL:
I had removed and re-added everything (PAAK from truck, app from phone, reset truck infotainment only, rebooted phone)...all done before the update with limited results (see post above). Then downloaded new truck SW and it worked. I think the thing for my phone was to reboot between each...
So...since the last software update on the truck (Ver 2023.6.2), installed last Friday, 3 Mar 23, my S23 Ultra works fine. Whatever Rivian changed in this update related to proximity, FOB and PAAK, worked for me. PAAK and FOB both work perfectly now.
Anyone else see their S23 issues go away...
