The problem is, at least for me, the problem is that I'm almost 2 years into ownership, and all of the proposed service centers listed at purchase time are still pipe dreams. No way am I driving 2.5 hours to Brooklyn, of all places, for service. Getting your vehicle serviced should not require...
I have about 8" of space in the front and 6" in the back when parked in the garage. I use the STKR parking sensor which has been flawless. https://stkrconcepts.com/products/garage-parking-sensor
My driver came all the way from the factory in Normal, IL to Philadelphia with the truck loaded on a small flatbed. Payment is due before they will schedule the delivery date/time. My delivery driver was great. Arrived on time and was fully versed in all facets of the vehicle. They take you out...
Pennsylvania has exactly zero (0) service centers. The closest one to Eastern PA is in Brooklyn, NY. Yeah, no thanks. The lack of timely and available service is my #1 beef with my Rivian.
My R1T has developed an assortment of minor but noticeable rattles and noises that seem nearly impossible to pinpoint. Especially noticeable on rough, cracked pavement.
I always have to press the top side bed rail gear tunnel buttons twice. I press once, and I can hear the lock mechanism release, but it only opens a tiny bit... it seems to be only partially unlocked. When I try to open it, it's still locked, and I have to hit the button a second time while...
Happened to me out on the road. No spare, tire completely flat, tear in tire and it wouldn't hold pressure for more than 20 seconds. It ended up being a 6 hours wait for a flatbed tow truck capable of handling the vehicle weight, then two days to get a spare and arrange Tire Rack mobile service...
Not nearly as bad as it was. I've found when walking away from the vehicle, I have to be pointing the fob in a direct line to the vehicle. My issue before was that even if I was standing with the fob 12" away from door, it would take multiple presses to unlock, and the frunk unlock button never...
I tried this exact setup (same bottle jacks) on my R1T with the AT 20" and the jacks could not get high enough to get the tire up enough to not touch the garage floor. If I raised the jack extension to the first notch, the jack was too tall to get under the puck.
