We looked at going that way, but just didn't feel good about how it was flexing the dash. You should be able to take that route if you prefer, but you'll definitely need a longer cable to do it.
For reference our Qi2 charger comes with a longer than standard (1.5m/~5ft) USB-C to C cable.
Hi Everyone!
Some of you may have already heard from being a subscriber to our infrequent newsletter, but we've just launched a completely new version of our popular Dash Anchor, added a Qi2 Charger option, and an easy plug and play OBD2 to USB adapter to power it.

A more important test than the slight tug is verifying the button is actually flush with the body. A partially installed SnapPlate may still feel snug but not fully engaged behind the grille without this check.
Reference Step 6 of the instructions for clarity:
Touchless washes are generally ok, but a touch wash is going to grab and pull until something breaks, and we'd rather it be a SnapPlate than the plastic grille on the truck. General words of caution for attaching anything metal to the plastic grille.
Fortunately SnapPlate is a simple one...

Happy to address this price change. There's two things at play here:
- With any new product launch we have to come in low to encourage orders on a new listing with little to no reviews. That's the price we have to pay to generate traffic and awareness on the Amazon platform.

We use H11, not sure where HEPA+ is showing but it should be H11. Maybe its the title of "HEPA + Activated Carbon" that was translated to assume "HEPA+" ?♂️
Here's a short video showing how easy it is. Much easier than crawling around in the Tesla center console! ;)
Rivian recommends an annual replacement or 12,000 miles. Whichever comes sooner. That would also vary by what type of roads your vehicle sees but its pretty standard.
Thanks Joe, we and the Rivian community appreciate the time and effort you put into this!
To anyone looking to order we have them available on our website and Amazon.
Despite Rivian parts site saying their filter is not compatible with Gen 2. Rivian Service department has confirmed both Gens use the same filter.
We've also received confirmation from Gen2 customers that our filter fits perfectly in their Gen 2.
Gen 2 uses a different filter than the Gen 1. This filter is for Gen 1 only, as stated on our site. We'll look to add a Gen 2 version soon.

Very early builds have a 12v power output below the center screen, but most would need to run a cable to an alternate power source like the fuse box area.
We're working on an easier solution/kit but it's still at least a month out from being ready.
Rivian recommends replacement every year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. I just crossed 33k miles and over 2 years of ownership. Rivian hadn't suggested or replaced my filter during any of my appointments.
That said all you have to do is ask and I'm sure they would make the swap for you...
