Thx for your reply, So I gather gen 2 half shafts can not replace gen 1.
i will just have to have it checked each time I go in. For me the slop was subtle, but was hoping for a definitive resolution before the warranty ends.
On routine service my front half shafts were replaced. I had noticed a bit of a klunk going beteen acceleration and regen. SC said that the rear were OK and did not need replacement. They noted that problems are mainly related to just the front. Would appreciate any comments as to why this...
Just had my front half shafts and hubs replaced. Did not sound like that and was more of a klunk with acceleration/regen Switching.
I do hear a faint noise with the auto hold. But not as prominent as what’s in your video.
I keep this in my frunk in case my 12 V dies while I am away. I have tools in the trailer hitch so I can enter the vehicle if it’s dead. By all measurements I think it should be a drop in replacement. But I’ve never had the opportunity or need to test it yet. Soonish posts with spacers. I 3-D...

Can only empathize. Sorry you’re going through this. I’m at 14 K no issues. But I hate hearing stories like yours. I do hope that Rivian will make everything right and that you will continue to love your vehicle.
If you have a standard Pac, it is usually LFP. Which occasionally does need to be charged to calibrate readings.
I believe the large pack is NMC, which you do not need to put to 100% unless you want to.
On YouTube, there is a channel called engineering explained that does a very good job...
When the tech came to install my inflatable spare, he easily just took out those plastic pieces and the whole liner came out. The spare comes with its own liner, which goes back in.I can’t recall if there’s extra space under that specific area ( though I doubt it) that you’re looking at, but...
