FWIW, if you remove the cap above where the wires are you'll find a decently sized space. If you put a small tool in some kind of padded bag so it doesn't rattle you can hid it away there too. That way if you tow you can still have it handy- just in case.

Same experience and had to go quite some time without them due to service waits. They ended up replacing a camera and recalibrating the cameras. Nice to have them back. My understanding as well. No part number listed on my bill at least.

tl;dr IMHO, I wouldn't worry about it I have the interrobang and I do use it while towing in addition to other trips depending on what I'm carrying. I also have a cargo net with tarp too. Just depends on what I'm carrying and how far. For a dump run or short trip with random stuff in the back...

This may be the case but as another data point. My partner and I both have EVs and we have a clippercreek/enphase dual charger (built-in load splitting.) I'd say it is about 50/50 of when we both charge at the same time. Both have a commute or weekend activity the next day. Easier to hook up...

On mine the waze alerts come through rivian speakers. Everything seems to work fine in that respect. When Siri or any app (e.g. whatsapp) wants the microphone you can tell because it shows the same call display on the left display as when on a call while it is listening on the mic.
