Replacement of my stuck 1.5 tonneau cover with 2.0 is still scheduled for September 19th. Has anyome scheduled for the ‘mid-September’ timeframe been rescheduled to a later date or better yet, has your new tonneau cover been installed on the promised date? Asking to gauge status of the operation.

Oh I know. I’m being optimistic but realistic. Having it removed altogether and going with a manual option will be what I go to if this drags on too long.

Have you considered deleting the PTC altogether and just going with one of the aftermarket options. Frustrating of course given the cost of the vehicle but I do wonder about longevity of even the thin slat version. Who knows how well and long these will work?

I’m highly tempted to do that although I may give Rivian a last chance since the replacement cover I’m supposed to get is the narrow slat version. Less failure points on that version IMO. If I do end up deleting it though, I’m intrigued by the Interrobang cover. A bit more tedious to open/close...

My Gen 2 with 1.5 tonneau cover failed a couple of weeks ago. First slate got stuck sideways. I understand from service I will get a V2 cover installed. However, the parts are not available right now. I’m told but part availability is currently slated for mid-September.

So I dropped by my local service center yesterday to show them the tonneau. They confirmed the only fix was a full cover replacement and also said water intrusion would not be an issue in the meantime. They gave me an appointment for end of August in the hope they will have received the new...

I will certainly push for a 2.0. Anyone knows what their policy is of late on this. Do they consistently replace like for like and make you pay if you want 2.0 or do they consistently move folks up to 2.0? Appointment made, by the way. Going next Thursday. A day’s work typically for a replacement?

Nothing stuck in there. That’s an exposed part of the motor/shaft assembly since the slats did not retract evenly.

Hey all. See photo. I assume there is no fix other than a service appointment. Started with tonneau only opening a few inches and stopping. Then, I tried a reset and it got stuck sideways. This is a 1.5 tonneau. Have had it for 6 months. Hoping for a magical solution but… I assume it is still ok...
