  1. Is CANADA a strategic market for Rivian or a place to dump unsold trucks ?

I recently took delivery of my R1S. I love the vehicle. Unfortunately it is larger than I had anticipated and I am having trouble parking it in my condo space. I can park it but it requires a lot of manoeuvring. I am a 71 year old man who drives alone and the seven seater is simply too big for...

  3. Montreal service center location is confirmed!

The market for a 100K+ electric vehicle is no doubt a special sector, but it exists. I have been considering selling my R1S when it eventually arrives as I am beyond the waiting period for a new vehicle (3 years in my case). My search for an alternative has been interesting. The MB EQS, EQS SUV...
  4. Montreal service center location is confirmed!

You have missed the essence of the recent discussion on this thread. Nobody is suggesting that Rivian is doomed if it does not enter the Quebec market. The manufacturer took deposits and received configuration data from customers and those customers, many of whom have waited 3-5 years are...
  5. Montreal service center location is confirmed!

My most recent contact with Rivian simply reinforced that they are not coping with a lot of things, in a very effective manner. The CSR that I spoke to about Montreal deliveries talked around the issue and didn't provide any new information of a useful nature. While I have no hard core...
  7. Montreal service center location is confirmed!

The plant is scheduled to resume ops on April 28. It would not be surprising if that slipped. They will also manufacture the R2 out of Normal as the Georgia Plant has been mothballed. I was told we would not have a service centre in Montreal for 2 months., so about mid June.
  8. Montreal service center location is confirmed!

I placed my pre-order almost 3 years ago for delivery in Montreal, Quebec I configured my vehicle, choosing color, tire size, options, etc. I contacted Rivian on three occasions for an update on when I can expect delivery. They have been unable to even provide an estimate of when I might expect...
  9. ? Rivian Adopts Tesla NACS Standard! (Adapters in 2024, Standard Charging Port in 2025)

Yes I realize the article/post is about the supercharger network. I should have asked will I be able to use my wall charger without an adapter. Are charging speeds affected when using the adapter?
