TOTALLY the luck of the draw. I was very concerned when switching. Only explanation I have is mine was built in the middle of the quarter. End of the quarter builds are under a wee bit more pressure to hit eoq numbers.

I find the R1S build quality is light-years better than my R1T.

I really want to remove mine. They will never be used. It shouldn't be that difficult. However once they're removed it might take some effort to design a nice solution to make the cargo area useable.

I traded my R1T in on an R1S two weeks ago. I did get an email from Rivian asking me to bring the truck, title and all accessories with me when I trade it in. They were all in the truck, but no one actually checked during the trade in process.
