I had this happen once in December at about 1500 miles. I had a SC appointment for a non-related item later that same week. I mentioned it to them and two other owners waiting for their vehicles also reported the same occurrence.
The SC did a "full scan" on all three vehicles and couldn't find...
Add me to the “small number of cases.” I have the exact same behavior as yours. I’ll try turning off wi-fi on my phone at home to see if that helps. Currently, I grab the fob at home to unlock the truck and then set the climate controls. Regardless, a two step process at home shouldn’t be necessary.
I’ve left my R1T four times for periods from 30 to 50 days. Fortunately I can leave it plugged in while stored in my garage. I charge to 85% before leaving and turn everything off and I never wake up the truck. I set a schedule to charge daily to 70% and each time the first charge is on the 14th...
If I need the cameras in that situation, at a very slow speed or stop, I quickly shift to reverse and back to drive. Alexa or a button press would be great, but the above works ok for me.
The first email “How to get your Federal New Clean Vehicle Tax Credit” doesn't consider those that took possession in 2023 but have a signed binding agreement and already amended their 2022 tax for the refund. And there in lies the confusion. For me, the process was complete when I amended my...
I have no problem having Alexa change seat/steering wheel heat, opening the frunk, setting audio volume, etc. But she won't change the center display from one mode to another. Hence, for example, the multiple presses to bring to bring up the drive mode screen to see the gauges or to change mode...
Two or three taps is the new normal on mine since 46. I haven’t found any magic words to have Alexa change screens except to navigate to a new destination.
Someone in another thread recommended Folex Carpet Spot Remover. I used it on my OC interior to get greasy hand prints (from delivery) off the pillars and headliner. It worked great. Looks like new.
Update: There were three of us at the SC this morning having service performed on our vehicles. All three of us had encountered the glitch and we all mentioned it to the service rep. The SC did a full diagnostic on all three vehicles and couldn't find anything unusual.
I didn't think they'd...
I got in the vehicle yesterday evening after charging and the graph was almost flat-lined at the bottom and the green Range Impact was full length up and it read 20.3 mi/kWh Average. I should have taken a picture but was already late.
It happened to me last night. Driver's screen went to white with just the speedometer displayed, the center screen went full black, with the logo appearing after a few seconds and the the nav kicked off. After about 30 seconds or so everything came back up with the appearance of a reset, e.g...
Mine's been doing that ever since the 46 update. Sometimes the Range Impact bar is almost full length up while the graph is below the line. Sometimes exactly the opposite, a gray bar almost full length down with the graph above the 2mi line. If there's a blue bar, I never see it.
A cold day, a little ice.....how careful can one be?
Also, pulling on the strap horizontally pulls the panels (obviously) which puts more strain on the locking pins as they bind in the track.
I don't often need to lock anything in the bed, but I do remove the tonneau often for oversize loads...
The release mechanism is extremely fragile. Even knowing this in advance didn’t help as mine broke on the first cautious attempt at opening. I think the locking pin on the left side was either cracked or had a flaw in it.
It's hard to understand that after months of design for such a simple...
I'm on 38 and returning to the remembered setting is a little hit and miss. The last couple of days it's been ok, but for the week prior I had to reset it every time I got in the vehicle. It would move to a position that was close to the one saved but off just enough to be annoying.
^ This. In the initial years of the Camry, CR couldn't stop themselves from gushing over them. Forget that the 1983 transmission had major flaws that wasn't corrected until well into 1984 production. Or that the brakes were crap and wouldn't last more than about 5K miles. Even though my '84 was...
With lots of traveling the last couple of months, I wasn't able to install 38 until this last weekend. I was wondering why I wasn't getting a notice for any version of 42. If they pulled all the iterations, I guess that explains it.
Every OTA update I've installed since I got the vehicle (May...
After being shipped to an old address, then UPS losing it, I finally received it after my son traveled to the old address to retrieve it (I was still out of the country.)
I got home last night and installed the cover this morning. The first time I pulled the strap to release the locking pins...
