Oops, forgot to look there. Checked Discount Tire and a few others. I think this is what I'll go with this spring since I'll only do light off-roading with my R1T. Mileage has got to be better than the LT option(s) with 13 lbs less weight.
Nope, skis are clamped down good, I use the same rack and like having it over the truck bed vs the roof, MUCH easier to get them on and off. Only drawback is it blocks a good portion of the view from the rear view mirror, which is why I added an RV wireless camera to the spoiler.
Regarding the OP conditions, I've noticed that the assist will pretty much ignore a car pulling into my lane in front of me until the car is all the way in the lane, then slows down rapidly. Human decision making would slow down the car way before then.
OK, I had the camera installed up on the spoiler with the wiring described above but decided to put it on the tailgate instead for a better road view. I wired from inside the truck bed, along the tailgate "arm", underneath the inside tailgate panel, and underneath the top tailgate strip...
The Playlisty looks good and does not require you to provide them with your Apple Music login information, essentially access to all Apple accounts, as a previously listed web-based service did. I'll give it a try, thanks.
Another NAV fail. Heading West on highway 6 out of Denver the NAV was telling me to exit at Wadsworth, about 3-4 exits earlier than I knew I should be exiting. Zoomed out on the map and it was telling me to exit, drive 1/2 mile North, do a u-turn, and get back on the highway heading West again...
Also, Colorado, I'm eying these to put on this spring, they look great and I like the 45 lbs weight. Do you know what your summer efficiency was with the OEMs? Seems like this could be a good balance between road and occasional off-road.
Spotify now sounds better than Apple Music. I had one tune on AM that was too low to hear clearly turned all the way up. And big differences in volume from song to song. I didn't look to see if any were ATMOS.
Yes, going from the truck bed with an ac/dc converter was one of my original ideas/options, as well as out of the gear tunnel straight from the 12V. My issue was getting out of either of those areas to the outside of the truck. The gear tunnel would have worked, the wire didn't get pinched too...

Not a one-off, this will be semi-permanent, and wireless, so just needs 12V and it will wirelessly hook up to the screen. This system is made so you can add side and rear cameras to your trailer and...
Type of trailer doesn't matter. This isn't necessarily for towing. It's a Furrion wireless camera that communicates with a monitor in the cab. With things mounted on truck bed I cannot see out the back through the rearview mirror. I plan on sticking this camera on top of the roof spoiler...
I'm looking to mount a wireless trailer camera on my R1T, probably on top of the spoiler, but need to get 12V power to it. Apparently I can't tap into the trailer hitch as that will fool the truck into thinking I'm trailering and will change alerts and whatnot. Are there any "easy" ways to get...
The car merging into a lane is responsible for judging whether there's proper space to merge so is generally at fault unless the driver of the car in the lane being merged into was violating the law in some way, like speeding or reckless driving. Now, if you've admitted that you had it on...
Well, yes, hence the RtMS admittance. I have looked through the user's guide but haven't put to memory all of the Troubleshooting section yet, which is where this was found. But there is very little to nothing on how to do these types of off-nominal hookups.
Oh, that's a bummer. I might be able to run from the truck bed through the tailgate.
Where I'd really like to mount the camera is on top of spoiler, wonder if there's a way to get a wire out of the front of the truckbed or from the gear tunnel? Looked around and didn't see anything obvious...
