after doing last update this noise that is like a weed whacker showed up. been using AC all this time there is no noise like this before. similar temperatures before the update, no noise whatsoever.
I read your original post. I was using the exact same wording for my issues on steering wheel feedback. any small change on the road surface like manhole covers, different asphalt coming together, I could feel it rather than suspension smoothing it out. big bumps and surface changes, it would...
I had no steering wheel misalignment issue until it came back from service with one. I had it straight when I got it first delivered. i guess it is possible to have it perfect and somehow get it misaligned after servicing it. don't really know what it means.
I recently picked up my truck after being in service for 3 weeks. I had issues related to general noise and ride quality. truck was leaning to the passenger side front a little bit. and bunch of smaller issues I had been piling up.
Picked up the truck and learned all 4 of my AT tires replaced...
I had lots of issues with delivery also which delayed delivery for another week. for me the worst of it was car had no alignment. no one drove it I guess before delivering.
if any of us attempted the things we see on Rivian testing videos, it feels like a hefty repair bill on the way. I personally don't feel confident enough to put the truck through anything like it as it feels like too delicate of a machine.
these are things you can do only if you are factory tester.
r1t owner, I wish I went with the 21 inch wheels for the range. I do love my green cars collection but I think a bolder color like red or blue could have been more fun
usually I commute with another car and today I was too lazy to switch places for cars. took the rivian with me to office today with phone only and now this has happened. Somehow I left one of the cards in my office drawer. that was a close call.
Thank you OP for this information. I feel like this is something I can do that could improve the efficiency and also road noise and improve ride quality.
What was the cost of these new tires?
That's just a crazy response. I got to spend some time over the past weekend with my 4runner. I am just amazed how well stock suspension handles everything. Rivian is sitting in the garage parked for the past 2 weeks.
I am dealing with the same issue. every small bump or surface change, I can feel it inside with the soft suspension setting. I feel it should not be the case.
also experiencing front passenger side is leaning somewhere between 1/2 inch to 1 inch depending on ride height.
good to know these...
