Ah, Google Street view is, and has been for 5 years showing an incorrect view of my driveway. They show a different street accessing our home. In spite of all I attempt to correct with google (even calling me to talk it over) they refuse to show our active driveway. I only have location issues...
Yep, Rivian has been here twice. Each time I had to call and tell them they are on the wrong driveway and to turn around and find the correct driveway. Both times they said the Rivian app on the phone is not very accurate.
I have been going back and forth with Google for over a year with their directions to my garage where I park my R1T. I even think Google sent out one of their mapping cars to check out my faults with their mapping. Currently to arrive at my garage you must traverse either adjacent neighbors...
i thought that I'd comment again with my problem with Google that I have been working on for one year now. Dropping a pin where my R1T is garaged is not the problem. Google shows exactly where it is physically. It just doesn't know how to get here and I believe we even had a white Google Honda...
That's what the service person said when I had to redirect him to my house about a month ago. He told me then, that he has experienced many mapping errors. So I guess they have a lot of work to do.
Evan though I carry a Google phone, I am not much of a fan. Google/Rivian can not find the way to my house even after a year of trying to inform them of their error. (Rivian has been here twice and I had to call them both times to inform them that Google lead them up the wrong driveway). If I...
Yep, 4 months after I paid for mine, they arrived by freight. Hey, they are made in America. One of these days when I can see again, I will install them on my R1T.
Can't wait to get mine installed. They have been sitting alongside my R1T in my garage for 3 weeks now. Not good. I have have recent eye surgery and my eyesite is very poor right now. All the tools are ready to install these beauties but my eyes aren't working very well right now.
After reading this entire thread, I must comment. First, I am an 80-year-old driver and up until 3 years ago was driving 60K a year on business here in the NW. I have been using Driver + on the local interstate, I-5 and I-90. Luckily, Driver + seems to be in its infancy, and turns off on...
Wow, after reading what the author says about Drivers +, I just have to comment. We must be driving entirely different R1Ts here in WA. His experience and mine are vastly different. I ordinarily drive 95 per cent of my driving on cruise control. To date most of my Driver + has been on I-5...
I'm a 40 year (dyed in the wool) customer of Les Schwab. In the past I drove 5K miles a month. I've accumulated over 3 million miles here in the 4 NW states. I've probably had work done at 90% of their stores in the 4 NW states. (During my time of visits to them, they have changed from being...
After reading this entire thread, I am fortunate to have all my cameras operating on my R1T. In the past 7 years I have been involved in 3 vehicle accidents that were 100 per the fault of the other driver. My vehicles were never totaled but did receive significant damage that required days in a...
You might find a Les Schwab that will install them. I have been a good customer of theirs for years and they have installed brakes that I purchased and brought them in for them to install. Of course they always inform me that there is no warranty.
Good luck....My Megawatt sliders have been on backorder (and paid for) for 6 months. Did yours just arrive? I'm north of you about 125 miles and have a big shop.
I'm patiently waiting for mine to arrive...
I have been looking for more charging along I-5, north of Seattle. Not much new unless I want to charge in Point Roberts. I am glad that I can easily charge at home.
