They only refuted the software glitch causing the car to be driven in a slow mode, which is fine. They didn't refute that the first delivered car broke down and is being shipped back to Magna.

Update from Driving.ca who reviewed the R1S:
"Deliveries in Toronto will take place by the end of the year; and in Calgary and Montreal early in 2024."
Don't care about MKBHD auto reviews as a car nut. It's also hard to take him seriously as a reviewer when he owns a Rivian, has special access to the CEO, and knows next to nothing about cars from watching his other reviews. Great product, but that's already known from countless other better...

Talked to CS a while back about a "fictional vacation home" I owned, they said changing the address would throw things up in the air and the estimate would only update in 3 months potentially delaying delivery further.
There has got to be some way to tell Rivian "I'm outside B.C, but I'm an early pre-order holder, let me fucking buy the truck and pick it up in B.C and I can figure out the rest" type of deal.
By the time my order is fulfilled next year, the camp speaker is probably an optional extra, the wood trim is now plastic and the front trunk is manual opening...
