  1. Has anyone successfully set up EVgo Autocharge+ ?

As of 2 weeks ago Rivian wasn't supported when I tried to set this up. Interesting to see appears to be now. Would love to hear feedback.
  2. Drive unit gear lash?

This is exactly the "fix" for both of my Toyotas (Tacoma and Land Cruiser). Greasing the various joints will get rid of it for about a season. It comes back. IMHO If this isn't a critical problem, i'm willing to let it go. I know... tough pill to swallow for a $80k vehicle, but i'm certain...
  3. Drive unit gear lash?

I had this on Day 1. I think it's slightly more pronounced in FWD mode. I've had worse on my Land Rover. I'm not going to worry about it until it becomes an issue. I believe it's coming from the CV axles. I don't believe the two motors at either ends of the car have a physical connection...
  4. Dual Motor range estimate

Thanks for that info! I'm still an old school locker guy but i'm willing to change. I haven't had the opportunity to hit any major sketchy trails on my R1T yet but seeing videos of all that excess wheel spin and having a lack of throttle modulation (basically let the computer take control)...
  5. NEW All Weather Mats for Rivian R1T - 3D MAXpider interior and frunk - Free Shipping

Really love my 3D Maxpider mats on my other car. 80k miles and they have held up to abuse crazy well. However, I ordered the Husky for the R1T because there is extra material covering floor board and hangs over to drain. Mainly it's what me and my wife steps on the most due to lack of running...
  6. Dual Motor range estimate

I'm a pre-march res holder and I'm super interested in a dual R1S. I drive my R1T in Conserve all the time anyway. Some questions come to mind. 1. Are the quoted range figures (e.g. 328 miles on quad) in Conserve or All-purpose? I assume AP. 2. Safe to assume Conserve Mode in the dual means...
  7. Found good bike mount option for Rivian R1T using Yakima Frontloader

I can't mount the high road backwards. I tried based on some posts. It aggravates the situation because it shortens the effective wheelbase. Will try again tomorrow. I should have paid more attention instead of blindly ordering from the Rivian catalog
  8. Found good bike mount option for Rivian R1T using Yakima Frontloader

Problems! Stock Yakima bike rack doesn't work very well. If you have a modern long and slack 29er MTB like my Yeti it doesn't fit. I mean it sort of fits but it really doesn't fit well. It makes contact to the top of the roof and its too long for the back strap. My hitch mounted Kuat rack...
  9. JuiceBox 40 Shorted while charging my R1T

I completely agree with you. Something doesn't make sense. I also meant to say the Rivian draws the power based on the setting of the Energy screen specified. Not what I think i said which was the charger pushing current.
  10. JuiceBox 40 Shorted while charging my R1T

Here's a quick video of the repair and why I think it happened. I had fun with the title. Don't sue me bro
  11. Review: 5000 miles, 3ish months later

Just curious... Do you typically drive in Conserve Mode (i.e FWD mode)?
  12. JuiceBox 40 Shorted while charging my R1T

I just fixed my Juicebox 40 after the Rivian shorted it. If anyone is interested in photos and the repair as well why I think it burned itself I can do a full write up
  13. Innovative Invention: The History of Magnetic Jack Pucks for Rivian Vehicles

Just ordered. Thanks! Glad to support fellow members with great products
  14. 21" to 20" wheels switch -- never-ending drama

The whole point of having a modern vehicle with it's software advancements is to have configurations like this be easily doable by the end user from the car's setup screen. Hope this makes the next update because it doesn't make any sense not to. The car can even verify the tire diameter...
  15. Disappointing service experience & lessons learned

Unfortunately the Rivian Service Center is the catch-all for all Rivian problems right now. Even the problems that shouldn't have been and originates from the factory QC department. Once that improves, I hope it has a domino effect and the Service Center can focus on traditional service items.
  16. Innovative Invention: The History of Magnetic Jack Pucks for Rivian Vehicles

@Mark_AZR1T Hi Mark, what's the best way to order? Thanks! btw.. anything special for forum members?
  17. 20" Hankook all season tires specifically for Rivian

Not the biggest fan of the Dynapros. Granted this was in 2016. Tire pressure was fine. The biggest disappoint was wet and snow traction as compared to the Bridgestone Rugged Trail that came OEM on the Tacoma. It's now 2022... I hope they improved the quality and compound.
  18. When does the model year officially shift to 2023?

By now most manufacturers are selling new 2023 models. My R1T set to be delivered later this month is still a 2022. I'm aware that 2022's can be sold in 2023 but in most cases the most manufacturers usually switches to production builds of the next model year 3-6 months prior to the next year...
  19. Need new tires replacement on R1T after 16K miles

The best you can probably do is make sure the tires are inflated correctly and your alignment is optimal. Did you notice any unusual tire wear? inside wear? middle? shoulders? @Jafresh Edit: if youre tires are inflated correct and you have inner or outer tire wear check your camber and...
