What PSI are you running your tires at? Minimum is around 52 based on the load calculation. I have run anywhere from 52 to 65 and haven’t noticed much of a difference in efficiency.
I get about 2.0 to 2.2 on my Platinums, also installed in February on a Gen 1 R1T quad.
Buy the Bambu A1 Mini for $200 and don't look back. Having a 3D printer hanging around is so damn useful. And Bambu is the most user-friendly of any.

The Platinums only come in 20s (to fit the Rivian). If I were to do it over, I’d probably get the Michelins that fit the 21” wheels, even though they look like tires that should go on a minivan.
My efficiency is now about the same on the Platinums as it was on the 21” Pirellis.
That’s crazy efficiency, regardless of tire choice on your quad. I’m at 2.2 lifetime, mostly on the factory 21s and since February on Michelin Platinums.
I have a set of four factory 21” wheels for sale. $600 for the set with factory TPMS and aero covers.
I ran these for about 18 months before I changed to 20” Atomic wheels. They were coated in Hyperdip for most of their life so they are nearly blemish free. Any issues you see in the pictures...
Make sure you’re connected to WiFi. Sit in the truck for a while to make sure it stays awake and give it time to phone home.
This scenario worked for me this afternoon*. I got my notification email from Electifi that the update was downloading shortly after doing this. Most likely a coincidence...
Agree with this approach! I do this as often as possible. Switching from the overhead camera view to the 4 wheel view lets me get within an inch of the curb and usually leaves a good amount of space on the other side.
I think many people park next to us just to be a dick. Though some may be...
Somewhat tongue-in-cheek... I hope my original 12v batteries (2022 model with separate L/R batteries) fail while still under warranty. If Rivian doesn't give us the ability to replace ourselves, it'll be annoyingly expensive to pay for them to replace at the SC and potentially a tow on my own dime.
Try searching for the terms "speed nut", "speed clip", or "captive nut". The problem will be that this is a quarter turn rather than a typical threaded nut.
Here's a link to a similar item at Amazon. It might work to replace both the clip and and screw.

But that doesn’t help prove my conspiracy theory…!
But, really yeah. Rivian’s marketing and communications team have indeed had a few missteps over the years.
From the email Rivian sent today:
It’s interesting that Google Cast and YouTube are stated as “coming soon”, but GGLC is in a few months. RivianTrackr tells us that GGLC is coming in 2024.35.
My Rivianology assessment points to Google Cast and YouTube being software locked in the current...
I've seen this recently with the last update. I have to reset the infotainment to both 1) get the drive to connect and 2) see all the motion cam and incident videos. They just disappear until I restart. I would say I've restarted 4-5 times now since updating last week.
Prior to this I only...
I had it on my F150 for about 8 years. I think I resprayed 2-3 times. It still looked quite good after all that time.
I got new wheels in early March. The hyperdip on my 21s still looked really good, though it didn’t fare well when the old tires were getting removed. If I’d have kept the 21s...
I previously used kerosene to dissolve Plastidip from the wheels on my F150 before I sold it. It took approximately 30 minutes per wheel. I’m assuming it’ll be the same with removing the Hyperrdip. Dip Your Car does sell a dip remover spray that I’m thinking about trying as I’m getting ready to...
