Same! My T is too big for some situations and very hard to get my mastiff into the backseat (twice per week). I honestly don’t understand how anyone drives a bigger truck than this as its literally the same size as a parking spot
How does that help anyone though? Chances are the reservation will have a time out feature (eg if you don’t start within 30 minutes it goes to the next reservation) so what would stop someone from just sitting in the parking space?
People also seem to be missing the fact that an R1T equivalent ICE truck would get like Ëś8-12mpg.
I get free charging at work (4 hour limit) with which has accounted for Ëś8,000 miles. I was absolutely shocked to find out this would only be about $350 if I charged at home instead. This equates...
I will say that the navigation is super frustrating to use during a road trip in terms of selecting the 'right' Tesla charger. During our Christmas road trip to Michigan there was a LOT of fiddling I had to do with changing the destination SOC in order to hit a couple stations in Ohio. It kept...
The speakers in my headliner work in all sources now, no complaints. I'm still running the 8" JL microsub (8w3v2) pointed downwards under the rear seat which required me to take the factory storage tub (and subwoofer) out. It's being ran with a Rockford R2-500X1 which is ~370WRMS @ 4ohms...
Yes but no. Launch mode temporarily disables the 112mph limiter in gen 2. Gen 1 quad runs ~11.6 in the 1/4 mile but I think without the limiter it should be very close (if not already in) to the 10s.
3.64 is faster than I expected for that config! I’m curious to see what difference the wheels make. I never retested mine after lightweight wheels (quad T) but I was at 3.03 seconds with the stock 21s.
From the driver's seat:
Press foot on brake
Press 'park' button
Release foot from brake
Open door
Exit vehicle
Close door
Joking aside, I'd probably leave the vehicle at ~70% and connected to the charger with a low limit at ~50%. Vampire drain is basically a thing of the past now but I...
I have the lectron L2 adapter and it consistently overheats when charging outside in the summer. 9.6kwh for 20 minutes and then a drop down to 4.8kwh the rest of the charge. Maybe in a garage is fine but under direct sunlight / 95 degrees this thing is trash.
