I'm continuing to show ~2.4-2.6 mi/kWh on this tire. Sounds like with the uneven wear and poor control in the rain above there's a definite alignment issue.
Aesthetically CarPlay won't look very good, especially since the Rivian screen is ~104% larger than the Rav4 Prime. Unless they can run it in a window, which then would require a lot of development / etc to fill the rest of the screen.
I just did my first (5) tire rotation after installing lightweight 20" wheels (... still ~31 lbs) and 275/60R20 M/S2 tires to replace my 21" stockers. (R1T quad)
Total miles driven: 4087
Average efficiency: 2.27 mi/kWh (I'm very confident this will significantly increase during summer)
Typical...
If you’re talking about the R1T (I assume you are because you said truck here) I would definitely get the quad. If you’re getting an R1S I’d get the newer dual. The suspension in the gen 1 T is already really good and the extra power is significant. The demo is probably also before they started...

I wouldn't want to upgrade even if I paid full price (which I probably wouldn't have done at the time tbh). Depreciation is too high and changing a vehicle every 18 months doesn't make any sense. The tax credit and pre-order pricing is what sold the truck for me since I really didn't need a...
You have to look at it from a different perspective, YOUR opinion is a little biased as well as you’re making a lot of assumptions about the potential lifecycle and comparison to a Tesla chipset from 2011. I (like many others) paid around $69k for an 835hp quad motor R1. What features of gen 2...
There are definitely some decent upgrades in the new one, especially in the processing power and cameras. But, I don’t think it’s as big of a deal as it seems. Gen 1 infotainment is extremely responsive, I’m not sure we’re missing out on anything (at least in the next to 2 years). The heat pump...
My overall efficiency (3700 miles since tires were put on) is at 2.35mi/kWh. They seem about ~0.2mi/kWh more efficient than the stock tires, but that could also be due to the lighter rims.
I agree, 1400 would be nice :p
None of the current (performance) R1 vehicles give you full horsepower unless you’re in sport mode, so I’d assume anything in the future would follow this trend
Maybe it's a regulation? My wife's Mach E GT has a disconnect button as well, I don't get it because anybody can walk up and stop DCFC by pressing the button.
Why would you want capacitive handles? Seems like a downgrade to me. Proximity locking >>>> capacitive touch. Also, proximity locking is less parts to potentially fail
