I just noticed this is an issue on my 5xxx VIN Gen1 R1T. Have had the drive for the past 2 years and has always worked fine. Same setup with a T5 Samsung shield.
@alexpuw
I am actually about to do the same hoist in the next couple of weeks. Any reason you have the other straps for support? The hoist can hold up to 200 lbs and the tent is about 120 lbs.
Welcome Ping! Got my R1T in May 2022 and have enjoyed every minute of the truck. Not really an active club but started this a while back to help facilitate questions and if there is interest in the future I have information on how we can make Indy Rivian Club a member of Rivian Clubs of America...
I am not sure they would include the air compressor on this vehicle in order to save costs. Seems to me like an easy decision if you want to make the vehicle hit the price point of $45k. In this picture it doesn't look like the air compressor kit but I have the R1T and am not sure what the R1S'...
Took a glance and can’t justify the cost. The one I really considered was polydrop campers https://www.polydrops.com/ but just not for me based on wanting to put my RTT on the camper for kids.
Thank you for your response! This is exactly what I was looking for in very helpful. I’ve definitely looked at hiker trailers, however just isn’t right for me and really against wood long-term. Know plenty of people who have gotten RVs or travel trailers that have wooden builds in them and had...
Thanks for this info!
And when it comes to good quality teardrops the range is $35k to $60k. I am looking for something that will last instead of a wood trailer which will breakdown faster over time and a company that will not go belly up right after I buy.
I am doing research on buying a small teardrop and with different sizes and weights of trailers I was wondering what others get for efficiency towing with their R1T or R1S? Hopefully this will help me decide which trailer is better for my needs and if size/weight of the trailer is really a...
It has been a while since this was first posted, but wondering if OP (@Mysta) still likes the setup and are the brake lights worth it. Kuat came out with just the Pro version and not sure if the lights on the rack are worth it.
I have used mobile service to do a tire rotation, and the Rivian service person actually lives in Indy. I would schedule something through service and see if they can fix your issue remotely.
