Thanks for looking into it. The wiring colors are hard to distinguish. The black and purple wires look identical. The white and purple wires were slightly easier to tell the difference. I wish I had kept the stock sub just so I could see how the wires were actually connected to it.
Thanks for the advice! My R1S is 10 months old vin ending in 032966. I have the single battery with the cap setup. The only other accessory I have connected to the battery is an amplifier with a 25amp fuse. I’ve never had an issue with low battery since.
I ended up charging for a few hours...
I just installed some fog lights with the Skookum brackets. On the 12 volt battery I see several posts to choose from for the 12 volt lead of the fog lights. Which post did you use and does it make a difference? Did you happen to take a picture of how you wired your Trigger to the battery? I...
I threw out the stock sub already lol. I could have checked the polarity of the wires with it using a multimeter. I think I’ll go based on how the bass sounds. Right now I feel like it sounds better based on your wiring diagram.
I'm working on using the subwoofer inputs as high level inputs into my amp. I was using your harness diagram to determine the positive and negative wires going to the subwoofer. I noticed that the the connector that goes directly to the sub has red and black wires. I wanted to make sure i'm...
I’m working on wiring an amplifier for a sub and trying to figure out which wires I can use for high level inputs. I see the black and red wires that power the sub (wrapped in foam) and I also see a 4 wire connector at the bottom of the stock sub enclosure. Which one of these would be best to...
After having my R1S for about 2 months I noticed a defect on the passenger side window. At first I thought it was a defect in the window tint film like a bubble that had formed. I realized that it wasn’t since it felt smooth on the film side. The outside glass was smooth as well. When I looked...
I'm looking into painting my trim as well. I'm a fan of the smooth gloss appearance! Can you comment on how the fender trim and door trim are removed? Are there clips that hold them in place and can they be reused? I would like to remove these myself and then have them painted at a body...
