Just a thought: why is it that a company that casts itself as an adventure company is making sure that there are plenty of Rivian on rodeo drive and at the local high end malls but working hard to make sure none show up in truly adventure places? I live in the heart of adventure land and in 10...
per my post in this thread that said Rivian will NEVER have a service center near me (therefore I will never be able to buy a Rivian per their rules): For those who live in urban or suburban areas (which I assume is the vast majority of you) here is what it is like in a rural area: The nearest...
well, no big surprise there. My bet is that the Ineos Grenadier will deliver well before the R1S. FYI, my other bet is that there will NEVER be a service center in my area. (Oct 2020 order, configuration has not changed since then although all that is totally irrelevant)
from Rivian:
"We...
The Ineos is what the Defender used to be. I suppose a great condition pre-change defender would be OK but I have this bias towards wanting to buy only new cars, probably because all the used cars I bought in my younger days :-)
the prior were on the very last day of the quarter and even the first day of the next quarter. I wouldn't expect to see an update before Sunday night or Monday morning. Nice if they are early...

I have been looking at it on and off for awhile and it seems that used prices are cooling off quite a bit. In the end though it will sell for whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
October 2020 order date. For a short time I got a delivery window of Q2 2022 but that changed to "Processing Estimate" which is where I am still stuck. We shall see what it changes to, if it changes. I'm sort of thinking at this point that either the R1S or the Ineos Grenadier, whichever can...
Just an FYI, from listening to others on this forum the trucking to their service center will probably not be on their dime but rather you will have to get it there one way or the other and may for transporting it.
Trout Creek, MT. Still stuck in "Processing Estimate". I'm not too worried about routine service since we are on a small farm and pretty much do all the tire changes, rotations, lube, oil changes, etc. on everything we own anyway. Recalls and stuff that only Rivian can do will be an issue. That...
Just an ask for some feedback from the group: We are almost at the end of April 2023, time for the seasonal updates on our delivery status. I expect mine to go from"Processing Estimate" to "Processing Estimate". At some point I worry whether Rivian can execute well enough to get cash flow...
Welcome to the rivian non-owners club! I have had an R1S on order since October 2020. At one point it said Q4 2020 delivery and twice now it got pushed back to "Processing Estimate" I fully expect it to be reset to "Processing Estimate" at the end of April 2023.
That is exactly why we have it set up. When we burn slash piles it is there in case things get a little too interesting. It works really well. 125 gallons of water and a pump that can pump the whole thing empty in under 3 minutes if you so desire. It would make an interesting addition to the...
OK, I'm still in Processing Estimate and don't expect that to change at the end of April. I was going to wait until then to post this but since I have been waiting until October, 2020 I figured what the heck. I got tired of waiting so me and my Rivian Buddy decided to take things into our own...
