My Shop access was removed 4 weeks ago, but no progress, no “it’s time to start your digital purchase process”. Makes me worry my vehicle didn’t pass inspections at the factory, is a lemon.
Further to my earlier message, had my service center visit today. $340 is for an EDV inspection. $0 courtesy inspection does things I can do on my own, such as top off windshield fluid. I paid $240 for the multi-point inspection. Only issue = they found both rear dampers were leaking...
A couple automotive YouTubers (OutOfSpec Kyle and Branden Flasch who has since sold his Rivian) had tested out Low vs Standard, and other heights, and concluded the difference in range was negligible, and a negative side effect was uneven tire wear (and others on this forum have said the same)...
I had the same problem. I ended up adding it to the list for a service center to address all at one time. They said there wasn’t much they could do, thought I was crazy, but spent some time on it anyway, and it’s a bit better now. My kids and I can close it easier.
I just got a quote from the service center for the 7,500 mile service, without a tire rotation as Discount Tire does that for me, and it was free. I reminded them that I want the 22,500 mile service / inspection, and FYI that costs $240. I'll be able to report back next week with any details...
I see many folks mention psi in this post, so FWIW . . . during my last visit to the Denver Service Center, a tech mentioned that they adjust the psi upward due to the elevation here in the mile high . . . science says add 1 psi for every 2,500 feet of elevation above sea level, do so when the...
I have a similar setup, though Clipper Creek. I control the amps going to each vehicle with the Tesla and Rivian apps, though the max is 50% of the line’s capacity to each vehicle when both are requesting juice.
@utahraptor I’ve read the specs on the website, eg 500 lbs per caster, 48” wide track, but am not experienced enough to know the answer: any problem with an 800 lb sled, or overall sled length of 134”? Also, the snowmobile is said to be 49” wide overall, but ski stance is 42” wide somehow. I...
I’d take them, but I’m in Denver. I don’t go to TX. I assume you don’t come to CO. I had looked into shipping once, but I see you’re only interested in local pickup.
I have 26k miles on my Quad, rotated stock Pirellis every 5k miles, including the spare. So loud that I also look forward to putting Michelin Defenders or something else on this summer. I put Blizzaks on after Thanksgiving, at 21k miles, and love them, including how much quieter they are...
For any Dual Motor R1 owners with more than 5,000 miles on your vehicle, have you (or your professional tire shop) measured any unusual or significant tread wear on your front tires, like Quad owners experience when using Conserve mode (in non-highway situations)?
I just saw a post in a Rivian...
Oh? This winter, on my 22 mile round trip daily work commute, I’m averaging over 2 miles / kWh, in metro Denver, typically below freezing, and a few days below zero. And a little better than that on my 600+ mile road trips across Colorado, up and down multiple mountain passes, with average...
Thanks. I was also speculating that an RV park’s 14-50 outlet may not be wired to accommodate the constant draw of an EV, even at 80% of max amperage.
I’ve edited my post now: this is the TT30 adapter I meant to link https://a.co/d/7nhY06F
Edit: oops, I previously shared the link to an adapter...
