So...
They have decided to replace the electrical harness and the HVAC Drain plug. (Enginerreing wanted the harness replaced and I shared the HVAC plug thread issue and asked they do that at the same time, not sure if they had it already in their plan or added it when I asked.)
So they had to...
And to day the update is that Engineering has asked for more data points which they say requires taking out some components and testing them. SC thinks they have this done and sent back to Engineering in another couple of days...
No repairs done as of yet, just the diagnosis loop.
This is day #27
The Richmond SC called me back and basically, from what I understood, elevated to engineering department means either 1. The tech can not find any reason for the error and also can not reset it OR 2. The data shows things that they can not diagnose at the SC level and so it there is someone who...
So yesterday I was told that my Truck was with the Diagnostics technician. I inquired today as to what they had found and got a message that "the data that was collected has been escalated to the engineering dept"
No idea what that means.
Today is day #22
Yeah I would imagine its a lot. And I am assuming that this will end up taking more than 14 days by the time they diagnose, get parts and repair. The F150 4x4 is not a terrible temp truck though...
Good morning!
Wanted to pop in and provide an update.
Had reached out to service and originally got an April service appt. Once I got that I just called in and explained the need for something sooner (also texted in the app under the appt - the text seems to go straight to the SC.) They got my...
Good Morning All,
I have had mostly wonderful experiences with my truck. This included a road trip last week that took me from Central Virginia up to Pittsburg NH to play in the snow and the cold. Truck performed well and I have no complaints about that.
On the way back, about 2 hours from home...
I love to offroad! Just put on the Toyo AT3 EVs and trying them out. First picture has the Toyo's, the second pic is from a group trip up flagpole knob over summer with the OEM Tires
Yes, this is more what I am wanting to do. Multi-day, multi- stop road trip where I want to take the route I want and not the one it gives me. With any of the Nav apps you have to trick them a little to make this happen, ABRP is the one that I have the hardest time doing this with. (and again...
And it could just totally be I need to develop a better skill set with ABRP. But I guess I am hopeful with its Rivian Connection the two of them would create something more user friendly. (Also, with range anxiety being a thing holding up EV conversion, better, simpler apps - and more charging...
Am planning a winter trip to (very) upstate New Hampshire from Central Virginia. Created a plug share route, also a route in the Rivian App just to compare. Have the premium version of ABRP and thought I would give it a shot as well.
With ABRP, I am really disappointed at its lack of utility...
Went to Discount Tires yesterday and swapped out my OWM Pirelli 20s with the Toyo Open Country. I still had decent tread on the pirelli's however, I had managed to need to plug two of them already and a third had a slow leak I could not find and so had to put the tire sealant in that one. Felt...
All I can tell you is that I have owned my R1T for 26 months now and have 30,000 miles on it. I’ve taken it from Virginia to NH and the Adirondacks, Florida and Texas. I’ve been camping with it and off roading with it.
I’m at about 30,000 miles with the original 20 inch tires. My dog loves...
Preface: I have a very low VIN launch edition hat I have loved and **knocks on wood** in 25 months and 28k miles have NOT had a 12V issue.
The 12v Battery issue has been one that has kept me up at night while on long road trips which I take regularly. The idea that it is something that happens...
