I have purchased the premium (mid trip) and noticed a big improvement in the calculation.
This is a very similar route to what I did, OC to Crescent City 775ish miles on 5 and 101. I’m sure I’ll make the trek again later this year, and I’ll be more diligent on my throttle control and speed...
There is only 1 drive mode on the Dual Performance Max “all purpose“ I specifically asked when picking it up about “conserve mode” and was told the dual motors do this automatically now, no switching.
Makes sense, but I literally picked in up Monday, so I had no idea what was reasonable. I think I used a reference from one of the forums, it obviously was a more conservative driver then I was.
Seems like speed was my biggest factor, to be fair, Rivian does own ABRP, why they haven’t integrated that into their vehicles ??‍♂️. Found this out yesterday when they called to arrange spare tire deliver. It also seems that it doesn’t “recalculate“ effectively unless you manually end the...

AT tires, which yes I know are not as efficient, but...

Just picked up my R1S Dual Performance Max AT on Monday. I was visiting family when I picked it up, and drove home approximately 800 miles today. Rated miles is 370, so I planned to stop twice, after 280 miles for the first leg, and 245 miles for the next 2 legs. I unfortunately got it on the...
Forgive me, I understand that the puck is rated for 15w, but most magsafe pucks only do 15w on non iPhones, so who makes this puck? For example, I know Apple, Anker, and Belkin offer full 15w charging on iPhone.
