From the moment we parked at the Blauvert SC to when we picked up, almost 4 weeks. Took them a week to diagnose, 2 weeks to get the parts, 1 week to service.
Not the person you replied to, but I was in the same situation. Mine had a high pitched whine at about 25-35 mph. They replaced the whole front drive unit.
Feels like we're in /r/homelab...
Home Assistant enhanced its backup/restore process, now you can perform backups via UI. If you're using docker, it's another alternative besides backing up the /config mount point.
Official platform devices will always be "easier" to get started. For those that know containerization (docker, proxmox, unraid, etc) a NUC is the way to go.
That's very interesting. I was told by the mobile tech that the metal strip and the black piece above is one single piece, and they would have to replace the entire unit. I see yours is fully straight and flush, while mine is deformed. Still waiting to hear back from Rivian service.
I know what I'm going to be doing on a Saturday night, spinning up a SM container to play with it. Tvh does failovers too (with priorities and max streams logic) but it doesn't seem to failover more than one level.
I went with tvheadend, didn't know about Stream master until now. Any benefits of SM vs tvh?
BTW, a nginx reverse proxy in front of Emby will be sufficient without messing with individual certificates.
Also put me in the camp of having lifetime Plex sub and then realizing the live TV support...
Hi all - I've always experienced a whistling noise on the driver's side ever since delivery. The Blauvert SC actually replaced my roof but I didn't experience any relief. I've been watching some of your YouTube videos on using tubing to cut down on the noise, and as I was trying to out some of...
The SC's first attempt at alignment didn't resolve the issue and I went to a different SC the second time around. They ended up having to replace two tires to get the alignment to take.
I had a somewhat similar experience with OP.
A couple of days after initial delivery, I started experiencing significant alignment issues (veer to the right). Filed a ticket, had the SC perform the service to fix the alignment (along with an eventual front drive unit replacement) 2 months...
Since we're sharing Rivian related HA automations...
I tend to not set any automatic entry way unlocks/opens because an errant logic could have security risks. However, I do have one that auto unlocks the door from the attached garage into the house (technically *not* an entry way).
- When...
Put the car in service mode via settings; click on menu bar 5 times and the RIDE icon will show up when you swipe up; click on the quote 5 times, enter code 33748.
I decided to take a peek and see if there is anything wrong, even though Home Assistant is showing normal operation. I'm not seeing...
After reading this post, I checked my Rivian app and sure enough, I got the same pending service appointment message, added on the same day 12/24. I called it in and they scheduled my mobile on 1/30. For what it's worth, the service agent indicated that as long as we didn't have an error...
Which HA sensor is reporting the 12v voltage? I'm using the following integration and I'm not seeing that sensor show up.

I want to chime in on my similar situation. I took delivery on my DM+ R1S in May, and it pulled to the right on day 1. The first alignment didn't resolve it, and I finally brought it to the Shelton SC (awesome service there, BTW). They swapped the right side tires with the left, and says now...
