I don't have a contact; when I was closing out the service appointment before I get my key back, I asked if they have wrist bands in stock. Apparently they just got a shipment in. Took then a while to assign the band to the car though.
I just picked up our R1S from servicing at the Blauvert NJ location. They now have a batch of wrist bands and I went ahead and grabbed one, $150 after tax. I'm having trouble figuring out the best way to put it on?
I am in the same situation, out of Blauvelt SC; brand new location, and already backed up. Car was in the parking lot for a week before they were able to look at it, and now it's sitting there again waiting for a new drive unit. I am sure it is difficult to manage a service center, but if...
I also had to take a PTO to go into the service center. My gripe is the same here, which is having the car at the SC lot for a week before it actually being looked at. If SC had called and said they are backed up for a few days, would you want to drop off a little later, I might have jumped on...
I wanted to chime in on this: our R1S is *not* part of the recall, but we still felt the headlights were aimed way too low. Brought it to the SC for a list of services, and they agreed that it is aimed too low and will be re-aiming. The recall didn't catch our 2024 R1S (VIN 41xxx).
Scheduled an appointment on July 23rd at the new Blauvelt SC and promptly dropped off. Apparently there has been such a backlog for a brand new location (I believe it opened late June) that they only started working on mine today. What is the point of having an appointment, so the car can sit...
Just wanted to chime in that I'm in the mid Hudson area as well and I despise having to look at their bill. They have one of the highest gas delivery charges in the country with no signs of slowing down. I got solar panels but still have to pay a fairly high monthly connection fee ($20).
Hi all - any of you use Google Music via Bluetooth for music? Mine plays just fine, but I'm not seeing the actual playlist on the interface. Is that supposed to show up? Adding a pic of what I see, which is a playlist in Google Music.
I parked the car outside the garage yesterday evening to put on the screen protectors, and surprisingly I did not hear much of the AC compressor at all. Now I'm wondering if it's because of the humidity inside the garage that caused the noise.
Interesting. The thing is I do not know anyone else that has a Rivian, so I cannot gauge what is "loud". All I know is that it is very loud in the garage, and when I parked it at my next door neighbor's house, my partner could hear the sound from our home. Even when the cabin temp is normal and...
Now that I've taken ownership of the R1S, it's going to take time to get used to the idiosyncrasies of the vehicle, I get that. But I'm not sure if I'll ever get used to how loud the AC compressor is. My question is: is there a way to *not* start the AC until the car is in Drive/Reverse/etc...
I'm glad I can provide some much needed levity with this question. Before I start pulling out the adapter like Arthur and his sword, I wanted to make sure there isn't anything I'm missing and I end up breaking the adapter.
Hi all - I'm testing out the charging while I wait for Amazon to deliver my Grizzl-E. Now I cannot remove the 14-50 adapter so I can test the 120v adapter. Anyone got hints on how to do that?
Thanks.
