    Agreed. That one fact seems to separate Rivian from most of the other competitor startups - Bollinger, Atlis, etc. Having a path to production in place already puts them way ahead and actual production so much more likely!

    Smart of Rivian to go after segments not already successfully filled by Tesla. I just wonder about the financial viability of it all in going after pretty niche segments and price points. Tesla wasn't able to generate profit until its 'inexpensive' big volume seller (Model 3) hit the market.
