Totally agree. What do you think about Bollinger and their EV SUV and their chances?

No sign of Rivian at the ongoing CES show. Was hoping to see them display there since EV's fit right in at a technology show.

Agreed. That one fact seems to separate Rivian from most of the other competitor startups - Bollinger, Atlis, etc. Having a path to production in place already puts them way ahead and actual production so much more likely!

Saw this interview on Autoexpress recently. Certainly sounds like Robert 'RJ' Scaringe has a plan in place and the R1S and R1T won't just be vaporware like so many electric startups. You guys convinced?? Link...

Curious why the change?

Smart of Rivian to go after segments not already successfully filled by Tesla. I just wonder about the financial viability of it all in going after pretty niche segments and price points. Tesla wasn't able to generate profit until its 'inexpensive' big volume seller (Model 3) hit the market.

I'm sure if they're boasting 3' water fording capability, the battery is completely sealed and waterproof.
