Last time I was at the service centre, which has been a bit, so not bad... The employees had a Gen 2 Quad T as a test vehicle and it was caked in mud. I was so proud of them.
I do this anytime I drop it off for service to see when it goes in the building, and comes back out. So I usually know it's ready a couple hours ahead of Rivian calling. Just makes planning it's pickup better.
I remember back in the day when RiDE had SOH and mine was 96% for the longest time.... then just before they removed the tile, it dropped to 95% I've been living on the edge of my seat ever since.
I'm guessing 89% at this point, but I can already hear the uproar on Facebook, Reddit, and the...
Powered Tonneau Cover.
I thought I'd be using it all the time, but because Rivian pulled it from my build, I'm stuck with the manual one (seemingly for life because the wiring harness)

The last year and a half, they've put minimum 200kw units almost everywhere, and then more corrodor/busy locations, they've swapped out 50-150kW units for 400kw.
My battery was still only around 16c when I pulled up, so not ready for full 500amps.
As long as the connectivity improvement is related to the poor Google Cast launch stability, then that's a win.
Casting typically takes 5 tries to get past 4 seconds of streaming followed by a connection error. Sometimes a soft reset as well.
Had an aging Xterra that I loved, but needed something new, I still wanted to retain the FSR weekend life I enjoyed. Since Nissan wasn't planning to make a new Xterra I initially looked at both 4Runner and Tacoma.
My issue with both at the time was the interior was dated and the engines really...
I agree, the shorter R1S platform really didn't lend itself to 180kWh pack as it was on the T. Even now, the original Large 135kWh pack takes up the space completely between the front and rear subframes on the S
There were also some unverified rumblings that they were having issues achieving a...
It is the actual 180kWh pack, it has the extra 2 modules in the main pack, which runs further rear ward than the original 9 module 135kWh/131kWh/ and revised 144kWh "Max Pack. It also has the telltale 12th module on top of the pack which was meant to take the place of the underseat storage in...
The skateboard you have is the dream of what could have been... The elusive 180kWh pack. 🥲
Would be neat to see a video swapping out the half shaft, I've seen the service procedure, but a video would be great. Also, from your point of view, where is their most likely failure point, is it the...
I don't want to piss anyone off... But up here in BC
- BCHydro, $0.36/kWh CDN ($0.26/KWh USD)
- Tesla $0.34-0.50/kWh CDN ($0.25-.36/kWh USD)
Chargepoint - $0.50/minute CDN ($0.36/min USD)
I mostly DCFC, and clearly Chargepoint is the best option still being per minute pricing, especially...
Mine has 2 spots developing, but I highly doubt service will care, especially if you are trying claim warranty.
I think what might have caused it on mine, is the silicone hook covers catching some metal filing or something similar and hold it against the tow hooks surface.
Rust is only...
