    I wonder how true this will be. Considering a lot of the launch editions are being delivered well into late next year, they must be planning to simultaneously deliver regular preorders through the year; that’s the only way they will get them all in by years end.

    The other positive is they have a fantastic warranty on the batteries. I think they’ve been testing these for long enough; I’m expecting very few problems but time will tell. I would think in the beginning, with them wanting to maintain their reputation, any problems will be addressed quickly...

    Absolutely. Any startup like this is always prone to a few (at least) preorder holders not falling through. Hopefully between that and the ramp up, we are all pleasantly surprised

    Based on how many times their self imposed deadlines, even if I got a date window, I’m not sure how much I’d actually trust it. Lol

    I disagree. As an R1S regular preorder who placed an order fairly early on, I was fully expecting regular preorders of the r1s to begin deliveries in January because that’s what customer service kept telling me. Now it seems more than likely that regular preorders likely won’t start well into...
