  1. Rivian buy back: what should my next vehicle be?

I lemoned mine as well and switched back to a gas vehicle. Currently no viable EVs on the market for my situation unfortunately so I got a GLS 450 which is nice as hell. Feels so relieving to be driving a non piece of garbage vehicle again after suffering for the past year.
  2. RIVIAN Execs! Brakes stoped working in highway at over 76MPH

Once Rivian had my truck for the CA lemon law limit of 30 days in the SC I was like f this and called a lawyer. I am assuming GA may have some very consumer friendly laws around it, give it a look. Rivian repurchased by vehicle and I got a $20k check idk why u guys are doing this to yourselves lol.
  3. Steering Wheel Shake at Highway Speeds

Same exact severity as this user. They did all the tricks in the book and nothing worked.
  4. Steering Wheel Shake at Highway Speeds

Rivian was unable to fix the shakes, after 2 months in the SC they repurchased the vehicle and I got all my $ back. I am wishing y'all luck and hope your SC doesn't gas light you into owning a vehicle that can barely drive down the highway.
  5. Steering Wheel Shake at Highway Speeds

I have 22” wheels and have same exact issue as you. They replaced a couple of my wheels and I got all new tires with the brilliant “heavier steering wheel fix”and still didn’t fix anything. I am currently suing them since they don’t think this is a lemon law issue and “in spec”
  6. Lackluster Delivery and Long wait for service

South SF SC is a disaster, they probably don't have anything available. The issue is just a vibrating steering wheel at highway speeds they can't seem to iron out. Which is ironic because I have 0 other quality issues with the vehicle unlike a lot of the users on here but I really can't continue...
  7. 2022 R1T to new gen R1T sticker shock!

This is factually incorrect the backseat of a R1T is poorly designed and does not utilize space wisely. The rear seat dimensions of the Rivian R1T are: Rear head room: 39.7 in Rear leg room: 36.6 in Rear shoulder room: 58.9 in Rear hip room: 54.2 in Here are some back seat measurements for...
  8. Where the heck to I check out a Rivian in the Bay Area?

South SF Service center is a nightmare so wishing you luck. If a test drive takes a month to book imagine how bad the actual service is. I didn't take this hint when I got mine and am now suffering
  9. Lackluster Delivery and Long wait for service

In theory driving around a cheapo rental sedan for a couple of days wouldn't be a big deal. The issue is that SCs are completely incompetent and my vehicle has been in for 30+ days for a "should be ready the next day" fix with no end in sight. So I am basically trapped into driving this random...
  10. Lackluster Delivery and Long wait for service

They just send you to Enterprise and you get whatever crap they have over there. I got a last gen model 3 base that looks like it went through WW2 with 12k miles that I've been driving for over a month.
  11. Rivian lemoned my first vehicle then tried to replace it with another broken one.

Does anybody have an ETA on how long the lemon process takes for an approval? My case has been "escalated" to the buyback team but I am stuck driving some crappy rental around and want to move on with my life. Can't really take my dog anywhere because the rental agreement doesn't allow pets.
  12. Scaling Rivian Service ops

At this point I think a lot of people wish their issue was limited to software
  13. Rivian lemoned my first vehicle then tried to replace it with another broken one.

Non-blue cruise 2021 F150 allows for a little bit of adjustment within the lane and doesn't abruptly shut off if you try to make an adjustment. Its quite graceful compared to Driver+.
  14. Steering Wheel Shake at Highway Speeds

For my case I actually tried a bunch of different things like grabbing steering wheel as hard as I could or putting a bunch of force on it but the vibrations still get transferred to my hands. Overall, I do find the truck undriveable and unsafe. Sharp and sporty steering mixed with...
  15. Steering Wheel Shake at Highway Speeds

I actually had the same exact theory in July but mine is pretty bad and I can't even comfortably pick people up without them commenting on the vibrating which is embarrassing I also barely drive or take road trips anymore because of it so it's become a problem.
  16. Steering Wheel Shake at Highway Speeds

1st round of service they did an alignment and balance which didn't do anything and said that some vibration is "In spec" I drive around for 6 months and my hands are starting to hurt from grabbing onto a constantly oscillating wheel + it's becoming a safety issue, so I took it back in. 2nd...
  17. Steering Wheel Shake at Highway Speeds

If you get any improvements from anything, would love to know.
  18. Steering Wheel Shake at Highway Speeds

Same thing happened to me at Rivian South SF. Apparently shaking steering wheel is "in spec". So now driving up and down 680 with barely controllable jiggling steering wheel for my commute... fun.
  19. Steering Wheel Shake at Highway Speeds

I am on the OEM Pirellis and having issues as well. Apparently jiggling is “in spec” and Rivians solution is to “just drive slower” even though highway on the routes that I drive has a speed limit of 70 mph. My layman’s theory after having all the tricks in the book done trying to get this...
