For the running boards, EV1 are probably the best on the market. We had some guys that had them at Hidden Falls a few weeks ago and they were fine. One truck did bend his a little when he put the weight of the truck on them which caused them to rub the bottom of the door when opening. We were...
I'm in the same boat. I ordered my sliders the first week they were announced (November 2022) and was told they would be shipping within a month when the order was placed. Fast forward 9 months and 8 emails to Brooke asking for updates, which were always "shipping at the end of next month", I...
Probably not in your wheelhouse but if a fabrication company is reading this thread, can we please get some off-road protection for the front and rear? There's entirely too much plastic under this vehicle. The front and rear bumper as well as the skid plate are all plastic. If attempting any...
I agree that the plastic around the rocker panels are not for off-roading the same way that the Tacoma Predator tube steps are garbage for off-roading. Both need to be replaced with aftermarket sliders. I'll agree that the aluminum body is more prone to damage than steel but the lack of sliders...
Thanks for this great write up. I'm in the area and eagerly awaiting my sliders. I may hit you up if I have questions. Hoping to have them soon as I was order 2070 and I know they're working their way through the backlog.
My slider order is 2070 and hoping to be receiving soon. Another guy I know who was order 190x just got his delivered today so shouldn't be much longer.
My windshield sustained a crack simply from being off camber. Nothing hit it. I was moving <2mph but now I have a crack in the upper left corner simply because the truck flexed. I've seen a number of posts about windshield defects and find it somewhat hard to believe that it's due to the angle...
Did y'all ever get a resolution? I've recently noticed my rear lights on a couple times. I have assumed I just accidentally touched the rear display and turned them on. I just locked it and will now be paying attention to it but curious if you received any updates on the service ticket.
I'm technically an April/May delivery window but since that is now past, it looks like I might be a June delivery. Originally had VIN ending in 5346 but it sat for 3weeks+ at the factory without any updates. I contacted my guide last week who said there was another truck I could take delivery of...
My guide just got back to me saying they had initially matched me with a VIN that didn't match my config so they had to retract the buying process and they are working to find me a new VIN :fingerscrossed:
This just happened to me too. I got to step 3 and when I hit submit I got an error and now the 8steps icon is missing from my account. I messaged my guide but waiting to hear back. Given that we both had similar errors in the same timeframe, I'm guessing it's a systems issue on their side.
I'm in the same boat. I logged into my app and checked the ? where you would typically go for support and it had my guide name. I haven't initiated contact yet but likely will tomorrow.
