It only makes sense what you and jjswan33 say - and then you're not obligated to choose 22" either if there's a particular type of winter tire that works best for the vehicle.
So, this is a little bit further up the street from Tesla Vaughan. I'm not expecting my order for a good long while given my configuration - no estimate provided thus far. I would think there's a number of people in front of me, who I'll happily let take delivery first. I'm concerned about...
IF this is your primary vehicle, and you don't care to have a second one just to drive everywhere else, then yes - range does matter. One of the reasons why Tesla has done so well is that it provides a reasonable range so that you don't need to own alternative vehicles when the trip gets long...
Question: while Rivian essentially gave a blanket statement about supply chain, have they sourced batteries? I remember reading that one deal had fallen through, but haven't seen anything since then. This, to me, is probably the biggest issue forthcoming to expanding production.
It looks like there's issues either with the equipment install on location, or something to that effect. It's not completely clear, but given the way Ford tends to sell things, I'd do more research before relying upon it.
Having read the review, one thing notable but only lightly touched upon has to using the Lightning as a power backup doesn't work as advertised. This, to me, is only the tip of the iceberg in which Ford oversells itself - which I have experienced myself with another Ford product. While it's...
Did ANYONE get an email about an update on Canadian deliveries? From what I'm seeing in another thread, it seems to be a mix - some getting earlier, others getting more delayed.
So, I'm curious. The initial 2 pictures are showing a slightly darker yellow than in the showroom. I'm liking the darker shade, but not the more washed out one in the 5th picture. I remember watching some initial reviews on YouTube and thought that the color is closer to that 5th picture in...
Has anyone tried the Ride88 racks? https://www.ride88.com/
I'm looking at them and thinking these would be great. The only issue is mounting them inside the bed since there's no fitment included within the bed itself.
I like the styling. About the only thing I would probably change is the front grill - make it the signature compass yellow just to have it stand out more.
Actually, I would disagree. While I'm sure that they'll work on expanding in the US, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they didn't put a service centre where there's the likelihood of high order volumes. Toronto and Vancouver were the amongst the first places for Tesla - I would think...
Never heard about the storage under the front seats but will be handy to me. Surprisingly, every single "internet star" reviewer hasn't caught this either.
Exactly. I'm thinking that for most of the time I won't be needing the absolute maximum range so hopefully the charging dynamics might be better for around the 80% mark with the MaxPack which will be around the same amount as a full charge of regular pack - 320 miles.
What's the 90% charge range? I know that charging an EV to 100% isn't the best thing to do, although I don't know all of Rivian's take on it all. The 90% is usually a threshold that allows maximum regen as well (coming from a Tesla).
