We picked it up on 12/17/22. What a great vehicle. Fun to drive. Of course that makes it even harder to part with it. Still on the fence, but I might put a reserve on an auction and see what happens.

VIN 2079 Picking it up Saturday 12/17/22. I placed my order on 11/28/18. 1,480 days between those two dates. It appears we are going to be selling the R1S. My wife has gone a different direction. Too many days/weeks/months since we were promised our R1S and actual delivery.

Thought maybe they stopped all production to tighten a loose steering bolt.

Same thing happened to me. I checked several times during the week and I had a VIN assigned, but I was waiting to do the 8 steps until this weekend. I logged in a couple of hours ago and now there is no VIN nor 8 steps. I sent an email to my new guide, but have not heard back yet.

I get that. Our current driveway has four. We have a 40 series we will probably never sell. We have had four others that have come and gone. I am also the president of the CopperStateCruisers club so that doesn’t help.

Not trading in, but I think we are going to cull our herd a little. Might sell our 2006 and build my 2018 to more of an expedition vehicle. Might also sell my wife’s Jaguar F-Pace.
