  1. Cybertruck sales appear to be down, way down.

This give me El Camino vibes:
  2. Toyo Open Country AT3 EV 275/60 vs Non EV 275/65

This is the way. DT had to pick up the phone and call Toyo because they couldn't find the model numbers listed... 5 days later they had the tires in their shop. I'm about 3700 miles into the LT version.
  3. Gear Shop Delivered Wrong Item

Question for the Hive: If UPS loses an order from Rivian Gear Shop prior to delivery, who is responsible for filing the claim and getting reimbursed from UPS... Rivian or customer? ...asking for a friend.
  4. Where can the aftermarket help the R1T?

I'm not sure this is in your current wheelhouse, but the R1T needs a bumper mounted winch!
  5. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

I've tried 48 to 58 psi... my sweet spot for comfort, handling, and mi/kWh is 54 psi cold. YMMV.
  6. RTT Opinions?

IMO, the major downsides of the RTT are upfront cost and PITA to load it on/off your vehicle between uses. I don't have a dedicated "camping" vehicle and never liked leaving the RTT installed 24/7/365 on my daily driver. Although I use a garage ceiling mounted pulley system to load and unload...
  7. Gear Shop Delivered Wrong Item

Same situation here. I ordered both the center console and power bank, but they shipped them in separate packages. UPS reports the center console at 1.6 lbs and the power bank at 1.2 lbs. They're both scheduled to deliver tomorrow so I'll see what I get. lol... this is like some bizarre...
  8. Gear Shop Delivered Wrong Item

This has now got me wondering... my center console organizer is scheduled to deliver tomorrow via UPS. I checked the shipment details and they have it listed as 1.6 lbs. This seems heavy for the center console organizer - wonder if I'm about to receive my 3rd NACS adapter?!?
  9. Saying Goodby for now

Sorry to see you give up the Rivian, but you were one that seemed to get the most out of your truck...and I enjoyed watching your build from afar and always considered you one of the "good guys" on this forum. Best of luck on future builds and adventures! Cheers!
  10. Gear shop orders - black crossbars / winter mats (gen2) - MIA

This seems frustratingly typical. I ordered some gear on Nov 25th and 28th... got the shipping notice on the latter one yesterday. The Nov 25th order is still pending.
  11. Kansas City Rivian Club helps out Chicago Rivian owner in need

This is a great story of the Rivian community...thanks for sharing! I'll admit I didn't know you could assign someone driving rights via the app. Need to know more about this.
  12. Article: Charging The Electric Rivian R1S Was More Expensive Than Filling Up Some Notorious Gas Guzzlers

My experience is that any road trip > 400 miles is going to take about 20% longer in my R1T than my F150 due to charging time. The cost is about equal...and the R1T is a LOT more enjoyable to drive, but it will certainly take longer.
  13. Using HVAC with Campstream One?

I’ve been considering one of these units myself… if it could eliminate the diesel heater and diesel fuel, then it would be a win. if you leave the driver seatbelt fastened, can you trick the Rivian into thinking the vehicle is occupied and let you retain vent control via the app? any feedback...
  14. 20" Inch Toyo Open Country AT III EV tires and Discount Tires

My experience exactly matches yours…including the lifetime efficiency of the OEM Pirellis. After 3,000 miles with the Toyo OC set, I’m getting almost the same mi/KWh as I was with the OEM set. I haven’t had the Toyos in the snow yet but I’m pleased with their performance.
  15. Google Casting Update is Coming!

There is typically a lag between the week in the naming nomenclature and the actual week it is launched. The 43rd week of 2024 was last week of October but we have not yet seen 2024.43.
  16. Effects of running 50psi on max 80psi tire?

Please review my interpretation of your post and math for my situation: Toyo Open Country III EV LT275/65/R20 identifies max load: 3750 lbs @ 80 psi Rivian: (4960 lbs/ 2 axles) / (3750 lbs x 80) = 53 psi This was a helpful post... thanks!
  17. Powered Tonneau 'We Owe' Installations

This is such a huge miss on Rivian's part... IMHO, the powered tonneau cover was one of the innovative differentiating factors of the R1T from other trucks. They've had more than enough time to get this right. It obviously hasn't been a priority for them and/or the cost to do this right just...
  18. Toyo Open Country A/T III EV Tires (LT275/65R20) - Fantastic (Review & Efficiency Stats)

i have about 2K miles on my Toyos and my experience is very similar to yours….good write-up.
