Ok thanks everyone. So the answer is YES there is a technical reason why our trucks cant be rear drive biased - no physical disconnect installed on the front motor. I knew about it being FWD before buying and bought it anyway - love the truck so all is well. Maybe they will rear bias the R2.

Ahh thank you. I was under the assumption that there was no physical connect/disconnect at all. Instead it was all electronics to the motors (either send electricity to the motor, or dont). My model 3 collapses the electrical field to allow the front motor to free wheel when not needed.

Yes picked up one today. The battery is listed as "Large Plus" even though ordered and paid for Large. Rumor has it they are installing Max packs and software limiting them.

Picked up mine today in Michigan. All smooth so far after 100 miles! They spent about 30 minutes with us going over all the features.

Ordered a 2025 R1T Adventure Dual Large on June 6th 2024. Ordered a dual motor cybertruck on November 23rd, 2019 - not willing to pay extra 20k for foundation edition. Will be interesting to see which is available first. Regardless, plan on sticking with the R1T.
