again AJ uses 6 ways to say the same thing to confuse you and still doesn't answer the basic question of what is "charge/discharge capacity" mean? AJ why can't you just answer he question what is "charge/discharge capacity" not "battery capacity"!
wait 350/1200 is ~.292 not .290 and substituting units doesn't help explain what your trying to convey in the math i.e. joules/sec to kWh/h just stick with one. The equation you put forward is assuming a constant 350 kWh for an hour i.e. 350(kW-h)/1200(miles/h) hence the hour in the equation...
Isn't that an assumption that you will get 350 kWh for the full charge hour? If you "assume" that the charger is actually ~263 kWh or ~219 Wh/mi with the taper and such then you have ~100 kWh battery size.
That 9% was silly on my part since I live 5 minutes from the airport. :)
It's cheaper to park my car for two weeks than getting a cab but I would most likely have a full charge from home anyways. In Vegas it can get up to 120 degrees in the summer and stay around 90 degrees at night. I would...
What stat would indicate the drain on a stationary battery? So for an example if I park my truck at the airport for two week trip (no charging) with just 9% battery would there be any juice left when I get back? I do leave my car at the airport parking lot quite a bit for travel.
Hi All,
New here and skeptically looking at purchasing Rivian but all I have seen is marketing videos of their engineers driving the R1T. I've been loosely following Rivian for about 2 years now and I have not seen anything on an independent test drive. Why I bring this up is the original...
