Ah ok yeah that makes sense. So when I had a Tesla I had “CarPlay” through the browser and it would do the same thing and it drove me nuts because of the delay and switching back and forth between Bluetooth connections. Thanks for the input on that!

Yeah that makes sense about testing with the phone streaming over Bluetooth. So for example in the case where I have music playing through the native Rivian app and I switch over to evplay for all other CarPlay related things like txt messaging and Waze etc, would the sound from alerts or Siri...

From others here that have it, what has the experience been playing music from say Apple Music or Tidal been? is it comparable to the native app sound? I don't believe Atmos plays through BT correct? I really want to give this a go but I don't want to spend $400 to be disappointed in the sound

Thank you for the reply. How about the audio quality over Bluetooth? What are the specs of your device when it comes to that? Also just spitballing here, couldn't you connect your device to USB somehow for the audio portion so that at least that part is not compressed like bluetooth is? not sure...

I don't get why the smart turn signals only seem to be for the Gen 2, Gen 1s should absolutely be able to do that, they do it when you're on "autopilot" and you switch lanes...
