I did not have any issues with closing the Frunk. It did not take a lot of force to close it to the self closing latch.
I am amazed that some seem to think they should get $100,000+ features for $60,000
Made my demo reservation this morning, as with several others my app showed an R1S demo, so I called the Salt Lake SC and left a message that I was interested in the R2 demo drive. Several hours later I received a text from the SC and he said in fact my demo reservation did say R1S, but he said...
I flew home from work yesterday and the Salt Lake SC is near the airport so I stopped by just hoping to get a look at an R2, but they said they did not have any yet, but would tomorrow (today) and said the SLC demo drive window would open at 9am local time.
Exactly, I want A/S tires for the summer and absolutely have to have snow tires for winter. The tires coming out he 20” wheels have little to no value to me. I would love to sell them the day I take delivery of the car.

My Mini Countryman came with Pirelli tires, there were a POS and wore out super fast. Never Again is my motto on Pirelli
That being said, an R1S owner friend (he also had an R1T) told me to not get the 21 inch wheels in a discussion. I was always leaning towards the 20’s anyway for...
So the plan is to order the R2 with the 20” wheels and AT tires, but when it is time for snow tires in the winter do you need to do anything in particular to the “computer” to let it know you changed tires and likely need to compute efficiency differently?
Thanks in advance
