I have the same issue with a 125 lbs person. I contacted Rivian and they told me it's a normal behavior because it's near the treshold. But I never had any similar issues with any other car. I filed NHTSA complaint.

My R1T was delivered on Wednesday, at noon. I received EDRS this morning; they sent it by UPS Express.

I received the truck on Wednesday, and today, they sent me EDRS, so I was able to register it online. Pretty fast and smooth, no issues! And yes, I was not charged a delivery fee.

Did you pay the $1,000 for delivery? My R1T should be in Sacramento on September 9 and I ordered delivery to Minden, NV. BTW, I suppose that I won't receive EDRS from Rivian so I won't be able to register it online. DMV in Carson City is horrible, 2 months appointment waiting time, but...

I would just rent a Jeep. More fun and less expensive (considering possible damages).
